    Morning all :D

The meal plan changed last night because I was tired :o :rotfl: I at least have a framework of meals to make though, and we're definitely getting chilli tonight :D

I did everything on my list apart from the Christmas presents, but that's not the end of the world - there's a bit of time left ;)

Nectar points are up to 11,359 / £56.79. I'm going to earn a few in the coming weeks if there's surveys, but other than that once I've cashed them in during the double points event I think I'll pretty much be done with Nectar. The changes they're making are going to make it hard to earn points, and I don't want to put a lot of effort in for little reward.

I've done my banking for this morning and made sure I have enough in my account to cover all my credit card purchases for the weekend, so everything there is ticking over well.

I've had my kitchen quote from Ikea and it looks good :j We're going there tonight to see the units etc in the flesh, and if we like them then I'll be getting my deposit paid and arranging a date! :j :j :j

    Happy Monday to all :D

A few missteps on the meal plan last week, but all the food was nice ;)

    New one to follow...
  • Waits eagerly.

I don't think my meal plan went entirely to plan........

    This week though, I'm hopeful!

Have a good day Mooomin and chums.

    :o

Well, I've been ignoring my diary for ages it appears. Time to get back on track as payday was yesterday.

December needs to be a Month of Much Discipline (hah!) as we're getting paid nine days early. That means that from December payday to January payday there will be 40 days

So, with payday yesterday, here's what's in the various pots of money (all to last until December payday):

    Spending money - £106.21
    Food - £192.72
    Fuel - £75
    Clothing - £20
    Haircuts - £20
    Entertainment - £50
    Car - £500
    Christmas - £143.16

Food will be fine - I have £40 of Nectar points to use to pay for Christmas treats anyway. Fuel should be ok too as we only have one trip planned before payday and it won't take a full tank of fuel anyway.

The gifting budget is doable as well, so hopefully I won't need to put anything aside next month and can use the money I would normally save for gifting to buy stuff for next year in the sales :money:

The only thing I need to do now is a meal plan ;)

That's my slush fund in case things go wrong Beanie, it's not a monthly budget :D I should have made that clearer. The car passed his MOT last month so the next big expense will be insurance in February. This will more than cover it so I'm stopping paying in to the fund until January.
