No change on the Nectar points yet. I have no urge to do surveys this week and I've been keeping out of my local Sainsbobs as it makes me spend.
Paid £200 off my credit card this morning. I think I have the right amount of money put aside to reduce it to zero, but as always I need to not spend on it for a week until everything goes through. That's not so easy!
I finally got the receipt through for my Sainsbury's shopping. It came with a voucher for 300 points if I spent £15, which would have been very useful but I got it yesterday and it expired...yesterday  I'm thinking about writing them an email to see if they just give me the points0 -
Happy Saturday! :j
Nectar balance: 10,624 / £53.12I'm finally over £50!
The budgets are all to pot thanks to Mama and Papa Mooo being in town.
At the moment, YNAB tells me I have:
Spending money: £51.79
Groceries: £86.44
Fuel: £55 (11th of the month and I still haven't had to top up :rotfl:)
We had a wonky wheel bearing on the car this month and I wasn't keen about having to get it fixed, as we have the MOT next month, but the garage did it for nothing as it's the second time it's gone and, as you can tell, we don't do a lot of mileage :money:
Hope everyone has lovely plans for their weekend. I still have Mama and Papa Mooo in town, so we'll be up to something no doubt :rotfl: We're going out for Chinese tonight so that'll be lovely.0 -
Our MOT is this month, and I'm slightly worried

Ours shouldn't throw up any surprises. Our car is a 59 plate, but only has 35,000 miles on the clock and is generally in good health. I have £441 in the car problems account, but hopefully won't need it, as that's where I also get my car tax and insurance money from :rotfl:0 -
Are mot's catching mine is due too.
I'm an 09 plate with more miles than you Mooomin!
Happy Monday folks.
Must update spends - bah. I've filled up more than once already - pesky country living

I still haven't done a meal plan for this week
Small MSE gains today:- £3 cheque banked from a "try me free" offer. Already got £3 cashback for it from an app, so that's me in profit
- £16 made on FB selling (minus 72p postage)
- There was an offer from the posh tie place for £10 off with a code and you also got a £5 Amazon voucher. I didn't think the voucher would materialise but it arrived today
Still trying to decide if I should offset a Christmas gift or treat myself to something!
I'm currently brewing a cold, but trying to ignore it as I'm awfy busy this week.
I've also got someone from Ikea coming in two weeks to measure up/quote on the kitchen as they have 50% off installation at the moment and 25% off appliances.
Hope the Mondays aren't treating you all too badly0 - £3 cheque banked from a "try me free" offer. Already got £3 cashback for it from an app, so that's me in profit

Meal plan
Today: Gammon, egg and chips
Tomorrow: Bolognese
Wednesday: Bolognese
Thursday: Jambalaya
Friday: No idea, still thinking!0 -
Hurray to a short but sweet meal plan! I never like to plan *too* far ahead because husband's and kids' plans can change in the blink of an eye.
My Friday night tea is usually a wrap pizza - I use whatever we have in, but it's usually a small round wrap or a warbies square one, tom puree on top, then whatever needs using up - courgette, mushrooms, onion, toms, ham, odd bits of brie etc, in oven for about 10 mins and some spinach leaves or lettuce on the side once cooked. cheap and quick & not bad for WW points as long as you go easy on the cheeseMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Meal plan is already to pot!
Mr Mooo did his back in last night and we had to get a doctor out to give him painkilling injectionsGetting him up and about took hours so I had a quick dinner and he had toast and painkillers.
I'm now choked with the cold, but thankfully had some freezer surprise available - if it's bolognese the mealplan is back on target :rotfl: I'm at work at the moment, but heading home soon as I feel really bad.
I need to go via Tesco though as only one of us is well enough to carry food shopping home!0
