Yesterday's big spend was £34 (!) on a voucher for another meal out with my best friend. She'll pay me back half of it though. It's a poshish place in town and we've been there before with a voucher and LOVED it. The voucher is valid until January, so it might be a nice post-Christmas treat.girlatplay wrote: »Is it a poshish place in the High Street? If it is the one I'm thinking of (starts with M) then I love it there too! EnjoyIt is!
Last time I went I managed to share the deal on FB and get three friends to buy it which meant it was free
Darn it .... missed that one!
If it's where I'm thinking of it will be very nice so enjoy!
Jan's always a bit 'deflated' IYKWIM so great to have something lovely to look forward to!
Special uplift cost is ridiculous - it was £35 here but they had too much fly tipping so it's free again(cost of phone call but that's easy enough to get around)

You know, any other time I would have said yes but between now and the end of the year I have two hen weekends (one overnight for 3 nights, the other my sister's, of which I seem to be paying a lot of her share, plus both myself and LMG's shares), a wedding (with overnight stay), LMG's birthday (we are spending the weekend in Glasgow - 2 nights) and a day in Aberdeen for a dance comp (train fares up and back). Just as I get over all of that, Christmas rears it's ugly head!
I'm sorry but I have to decline this time. I will give you a shout if/when one comes up next year!Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
