Daft question you watching the results on Thurs. Me and Him are going to a pals and have the day off the next day.

I hummed and hawed about needing accidental damage cover but decided against it - pretty much guaranteeing I'm going to paint my carpet or something :rotfl:rising_from_the_ashes wrote: »LOL I phoned and ADDED it to mine yesterday - not had it for years BUT new carpet fitted today so ...... just in case!Pfft, I got a new carpet last month but I'm living dangerously
I got a new carpet at the end of last year. In two separate incidents (by two different people) a glass of red wine has been spilt on it. The carpet is cream. Best carpet I have ever had as it came out both times and you wouldn't know!Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Nah, I have to work the next day. Madness in itself as I'm pretty sure I won't sleep at all.
That being said, we've got a referendum-free house at the moment as myself and Mr Mooo are voting different ways (he's wrong, of course) so I expect I won't get to watch coverage on the night. I'm going to wake up in the morning and know if my whole country has changed - it's really quite exciting

It is exciting and a bit nerve wracking. I voted last week by post. Our 'family' household is a 3/1 split.
We're locking the one who's 'wrong' in the cupboard for the day.

Mum was on the phone earlier and she'd ran into her next door neighbour (they've only been there a month) and was invited round for 'drinks & nibbles' on Fri night......

Turns out 9am is a good time to shop in Morrisons - two large chickens half price (£3 instead of £6), some tortellini and some bacon half price too
I picked up some free LEGO for a friend as well courtesy of WH Smith. I didn't realise they were meant to take the voucher out of the paper (and, it seems they didn't either!) so I'm trying to decide if I should go to another WH Smith and get another set....it seems cheeky, but I know someone who would love them and I really like the idea of getting a second freebie from the Mail.0 -
