    Thanks ladies :D

I've been and done my food shop this morning and spent £31.55  Of that £4.99 was a magazine (BAD MOOO!) and £5 on stuff that Mama Mooo will repay me for, so overall a spend of £21.56 which isn't half bad, especially as I got their three meats for a tenner deal which will do 7 meals. I had another offer from my bank for 5% cashback when I use my debit card at Morrisons so that'll be £1.57 in my bank account at some point. Every wee bit helps as that other place says :rotfl:

My food spreadsheet shows that I've spent £117.66 so far this month but the value of the food was £193.23 :money: Some of that is YS bargains, some is BOGOF or similar and the others are tracking the Morrisons stuff that's come down in price. I won't be tracking that next month so expect to see a change. Given that this time last year my budget for the month was £250 and it was a real struggle I'm feeling pretty proud of myself. I do need to get milk and bread later, but will aim to get out of Aldi spending less than a fiver. I hope to reach the end of the month with at least a tenner's worth of change to add to next month!

    Other news:

£16.50 of Tesco vouchers have arrived. Hidden in a jar until I figure out what to do with them :D

John Lewis vouchers arrived so that's free tea and cake for June, July and August :D

Another £2 Love2Shop vouchers also landed from the RM surveys. I have £6 in my purse now and no clue what to use them for :rotfl:

^^^^^ magazine subscription? I often use my CC vouchers for those and they're pretty good value if you like a magazine splurge now and then.

    Runs off and hides :)
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

Good suggestion, Pippi, but it's craft magazines I tend to buy and they don't have the ones I like on subscription. Every so often I do a three issues for £3 trial offer and that works well, but yesterday's offering had a really good "freebie" so I thought "sod it" :D

I went out yesterday with £30 in my purse, managed to eat out (Nando's) and get entirely sozzled and return home with £40 a friend owed me. If it wasn't for the magazine I would count that as a NSD :rotfl:

    Credit card balance: £56.11
Payment already on the way: £16.74
    Shoes to be returned: £15
    New balance: £24.37

    That's been cleared this morning.

Today we're off to a wedding. In typical Scottish fashion for a wedding at the end of May it's tipping it down raining :rotfl: It should be a lovely day though and I'm really excited to see my friends get married too  It's a potential SFD as I don't think I'll be wanting alcohol again so soon :D

It didn't end up being a SFD as I spent £2.20 on each diet coke I had (two) Sodding rip-off :D

Still, the day was wonderful. My two friends couldn't have looked happier and I blubbed through the ceremony with joy for them :o Anyone who is on my FB will see the photos and it was such a fun day for all of us.

Planning a SFD today and the bank accounts are all looking as they should. There's money in my purse too. Something is clearly afoot :D

I read my craft magazine last night and remembered that they really aren't good value for money :o Most of the time I do manage to resist, but I clearly need to get better at doing that.

I'm heading out for dinner tonight, knackering the mealplan slightly - I don't know why I bother! On the bright side, I've spent about £120 of £175 miscellaneous spending budget, so I know I can afford it :D
