    Why is it odd, Claire?

Because that flight option should not have shown up.

It should have said no 10 night holidays were available.

Op have you tried calling Thomson and seeing if they will do anything? It's worth a try.

It's possible that the OP has to check out of their hotel 20 hours before they fly home.
Some have said there isn't much wrong with this
So, where's the cut off point before it shouldn't really be offered as a package with a warning or note that'll you'll be on your own for the best part of a night and day?

for me (used to early morning flights home from Turkey to the UK) it depends if the flight home is classed by the airport as a day flight or a night flight -and I suspect the airport (and therefore Thomson) classes the 6.30am flight as a night flight.

ie - my most recent trip, our flight departure time from Turkey was at 3.30am. It was not the last "night flight" out, the last night flight out was at 5.30am. Then there was a clear break of around 2 and a half hours, when the "day" flights were scheduled to start departing.

I agree with others, for Greece and Turkey tourist airports, where night flights can go on departing literally all night long, its fairly normal to have to check out (on a package holiday) at midday the day before you fly. So if you want to have a room or facilities for longer than check-out time, you either extend your stay at the hotel on the package, by contacting the hotel and booking an extra 6 hours (sometimes theres the option for 12 hours too) yourself direct, or if thats not possible, do what jemski has suggested earlier, book a different hotel, close to the airport, for your last "night".

what it shows and what was asked cannot be misrepresentation.

The checkout process is such that you are rmeinded multiple times of the times and dates. Its thrown up the holiday because its within a few days of the original request, nearly all holiday sites do this.

The op has booked it based on cost. Its made perfectly clear on the website the times and dates involved, has images and warnings all over the place. I wonder just how much more the same holiday is with flights that depart at a civilised hour...

    I agree, I'll rephrase
At what time does a night flight on your last day of your holiday become a day flight the following day?

I have 6am flight to Heathrow on Friday, I don't consider that a night flight

Any flights between the hours of 11pm and 7am are classed as night flights.

According to who (link please) and is that leaving or arriving?

It certainly cannot be leaving, I've lost count of the number of flights I've taken out of LHR/LGW/STN between 6.30-7am, none have ever been classed as a night flight, they have all been first flights of the day.

I was going to say the same, I bet the same holiday with decent flights is a couple of hundred pounds more.
The op still hasn't said how they booked please put us out of our misery was it the net?

It appears Saturday is the changeover day for Thomson packages, not Sunday, so they are unlikely to offer the Sarurday night.

I'd just book a hotel near the airport.

But let the Thomson rep know if you are doing this.

i agree that all flights from any airport are not classed as night flights if they leave at 6.30am - but its entirely possible that the Rhodes flights are.

Had I booked this, I'd have made the same mistake as you OP.

Ring Thomson and see what they say. If you get nowhere, then just book an extra night at the hotel.

FWIW, I think it's out of order. Thomson have sold you 10 nights in accomodation and a flight there and back. By Thomson's logic, you could have had a flight home when they've given it to you, or the day after, or the day after that. You could have been camping in the foyer for 1 or 2 or 3 nights.

Guess its a mistake you wont make again OP.
