Superb news on your 1 Stone Award - well done you! :T:T
I noticed your DFD had come forward, fantastic news, but do I see another lightbulb flashing large and bright with that compound interest on the sandals?:eek:

Don't beat yourself up (esp about shoes). The fact that you considered the impact this purchase would make is evidence of how far along this road that you've travelled. It's like any journey, there are diversions but you are still going in the right direction.
Also, these were footwear that were needed esp given you're on your feet in the second job. It's not a frivolous extra. You do need to live and to earn.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. INOD you are right re the shoes. I am on my feet a lot and I really need good shoes. I suffer on and off from plantar fasciitis which is very painful and I need decent supportive shoes and sandals. I just wish I had had the cash to pay for them outright. I've stopped the self flagellation
Ali, you are also right and 1 swimsuit will do me. I tried on the free tops today and they are perfect and look fab so they will get a wee wash and put in suitcase. I need to have a look soon and see what I have.
Spent £2.25 on a baked potato today, £5 on a pedometer as I am taking part in the annual walking challenge again and £5 for a charity ticket. So much for my NSD *rolleyes*
Had a friend up tonight for a catch up and thoroughly enjoyed it. She has talked me into going to a charity event with her . Michele Collins and a few other celebrities will be there. It's to raise funds for dogs. I don't like dogs :rotfl:
Got an offer of £50 tonight for wine cooler but again said no. I'm really not prepared to go below £70 so I am sticking to my guns. Not been paid for cleaning yet and am £74 overdrawn  costing me £2 so far and £1 each day I am overdrawn. Very annoying but I know my friend has to be paid first so she can pay me. She would be mortified if I told her I was overdrawn. Also she has kind of promised me work most bank holidays and any days I have off so I need to keep her sweet.
DS has an assessment tomorrow and needs to pass it to sit his Higher maths. At 10.30pm tonight he decides he needs DD to help him and I was to call school tomorrow to see if they will delay it for him. I do not think so!!! Little !!!!!! My dd has offered to help him on umpteen occasions. She has also given him all her notes from when she sat Maths, my friend is a bloody Maths teacher. All of these options have been offered to him over the 2 weeks holidays he has had. Did he utilise any of them ? NO NO NO he didn't. However this is everyone's fault except his and I am furious at him. Sent to bed with a flea in his ear.................a LOUD one . He reckons he will just go into school on a day's study leave to do a resit. I'm sure the school won't mind !! HA !! Told him he can also pay the bloody £8 costs himself as I was not paying it for him. He then tried to lecture me on what was more important- him passing an exam or me paying his fares. How I kept my hands from his neck I will never know
Anyway, now I have calmed down I will get to bed. It will all look better in the morning :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Whenever DS is behaving as he did, just remember that the ability to formulate arguments and justifications at short notice is good interview training for him. Then go for the throat. My prob was after my son turned about 14, he was too fast and I was too short to get a good grip. Isn't it worrying the extent to which I thought it throughMortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes.
