I have paid about £160 in interest this month
. I think I will start doing the interest countdown again in my signature as I found that really motivating last time. I hate giving all this money away for nothing
. I can't get any BT's just now either.

OMG I am hooked. DD and I had the best time ever tonight. We were in the front row of the Grand Circle and it was just tremendous.DD loved it too and all I can say is WOWSA. I can't wait to go again.
Spent £24.50 on dinner and £5 on programme. Bought chips on way home for £4 so quite a wee spendy day but it was worth every penny spent.
Apparently my fruit and veg guy was delivering today but his phone was broken so couldn't contact anyone. No idea whether he came here or not as we weren't in. Never mind. I'll get them during the week.
So a wee catch up and then bed for me xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

What a lovely wee day I have had. Nice long lie except for the early morning doggy alarm at 7.30. Neighbours dogs waken us every bloody day. Drives me nuts tbh and I am very nearly at the stage of saying something to them as they have wakened me both yesterday and today. I get up every morning during the week at 6.30am and I don't think it is too much to ask to get a lie in until at least 9 of a weekend
However. I went back to sleep until 10.30. Then lay and read my book until 11.30
. Got up and ready and went for afternoon tea with my friend and her Mum. I'm stuffed but it was so nice. I had booked it for her 70th birthday and we had a loely wee time. Her hubby died in February so we have been trying to spoil her a bit. She still ended up with tears though.
We then went into that posh shop (POUNDLAND) and I spent £10 of stuff but must say I am very happy with my purchases. I got 3 ceramic dishes that will do either individual steak pies, shepherds pies etc. I've wanted these for ages but always about £5 each so for £1 each I ma very happy. Got a balloon whisk, tongs and a cake slice. An oven mitt ad 3 feather boas. Whiich as we know is an essential item in any lady's wardobe- well ok then we're doing the race for life next week so it is to wear to match our cowboy hats. I will look stunning :rotfl:. Pink hat, pink top, pink boa and red face. I'm sure I won't clash :rotfl:
So all in all a nice wee day. Am going to chill out for a wee hour then make dinner.
Forgot to say just saw hundreds of men in kilts !! YUM YUM. The annual kilt walk is on today and it passes by our town. Thousands of people take part for charity.

I made meatballs in onion gravy for dinner with baked potatoes. It was absolutely delicious. I made 2 batches and 1 was set to go in freezer. DS decided he was still hungry and ate 2nd batch as well. 15 meatballs in all . In his defence he didn't have a baked potato as he doesn't like potatoes. But 15 meatballs . Hmm, it's the bottomless pit of a teenager, dreading it, mines 11 and always hungry ....Sealed pot challenge 822

I've taken to hiding the leftovers so they make it to the freezer :rotfl: though DS is going through lazy stage and he can't be bothered to go hunting for seconds these days.
Glad you enjoyed the ballet and had great seats too. Am a big fan as well but haven't been for years. Was a snowflake in Swan Lake once in a local production (age 7 and three quarters)
Sorry about the dogs this morning  . I try and only let mine out early for a very quick garden trip and then indoors/walks up until a more reasonable hour. Depends on if the local brave cat sits teasing them on the fence in full view!
Men in kilts you say..I'm all earsBack on the DFW Wagon:

it was a fine sight Ali. I love men in kilts. There's something incredibly masculine about it even though folks liken the kilt to a skirt
Dawny if he would fill up on sandwiches or potatoes, fruit or veg it wouldn't be so bad but he will just not touch them I've even tried to just give him the part of the meal he will eat but he ends up eating everything he can find. For instance he has eaten a multi pack of Pom bears since Friday .
Ali I also hide things. I daren't leave biccies or anything where DS will find them as they vapourise but it's never ever him that eats anything :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

DH's best friend is a Dad of 4. When the kids were little he installed a safe in his bedroom to hide all the biscuits/sweets/crisps etc because otherwise it all disappeared by 2 days after they did the shopping. He still has an 18 and 21 year old at home and the safe has come back into play!!! Apparently 6 bowls of cereal is normal for his son if it's not locked away  XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Ha Ha PLMBL @ the safe story. I have 1 cupboard in the kitchen where I keep my curly wurlys and milky ways and woe betide anyone who touches them. If however I am stupid enough to keep them anywhere else then they appear to be fair game
Eventually got my fruit and veg delivery. The stuff is just lovely. So fresh. So I was £32 tonight and will get my chicken tomorrow as the box had burst tonight when she came to deliver it. I didn't want it unless fresh and sealed.
I've also paid £205 deposit for my September holiday today. I'm gulping a bit now at being so rash and booking 2 holidays but I will manage somehow. I've actually burst my target this month by £79.06 so that almost makes up for buying my shoes
No other spends but I reckon that was more than enough . Shoes are here so am about to open them and see what they are like.
Started the walking challenge again in my work today as well so went a 5k walk tonight to get me started. So unfit again but will build it up. Am glad we managed the 5k+ tonight as that is what we will be doing at race for life on Sunday so at least I can be confident I'll manage it okay.
