Just ordered 2 pairs of Hotter sandals. Saved myself £41.95 using a code
. They are still £90 for 2 pairs but I have the worst feet ever and just need to pay money for shoes unfortunately or I cannot walk very far. Too many years of high heels and pointy toe shoes obviously. I have stuck them onto my CC but will pay it off ASAP and I really really need them so it had to be done. I'm very pleased at the money I have saved .

Happy Easter :easter_ba and Happy Birthday to DD :bdaycake:
Hope you had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine - we've got very heavy rain here and it's so dark that the lights are on (I know, should be candles but cooking dinner and admiring my handiwork).
Great news on the extra hours tomorrow and I hear you on the shoes too. Necessary spends and comfort takes first priority for my feet too these days.
PS. Got 2 numbers on the lottery, so between us with got 3. Makes us winners in my book. :-)Back on the DFW Wagon:

Always winners Ali
What a lovely day was had by all. It was very warm here and so nice to sit out. My face got burnt really quickly so the factor 30 got slapped on quick smart. My friend had made such a fuss of DD and had balloons and banners and a birthday cake and everything for her. Her wee 5 year old Granddaughter was there and she totally adored my DD. She wanted a present to give to my DD and she was writing her a card sitting out back. She wanted to write 'to gorgeous, beautiful DD' :rotfl: but it was cut down to gorgeous DD ( she is a pretty lass my DD ) and she covered the envelope in kisses. She was out back herself by this time but I was watching her, She licked the envelope and then opened it again and kissed the card and ran in with it for DD. It was the cutest thing to watch. She's a wee doll
Food was lovely and the booze was flowing. I spent £10 on booze as I took wine for the hosts and cider for DD and I. Brought loads of the cider home though so that'll do me another time.
So a lovely day was had. Can't be !!!!!d working tomorrow but needs must. I just wish I could afford to pay off the £120 earned from my CC but I need it for everyday stuff unfortunately. Good morning. Sun is again splitting the skies here. I am heading out to work soon. Need to get petrol to see me through till end of month on way or I will be in danger of running out. I reckon £30 should see me through. Well I hope it will.
I am leaving instructions with my kids to clean the house and cut the grass whilst I am out as we are all back at work etc tomorrow and it'll end up not getting done. I'm sure they will be delighted. NOT :rotfl:

Evening folks. I am dog tired tonight and I reckon it'll be early to bed for me. That was a very hard cleaning shift. I cleaned 6 bathrooms today all with massive showers. One of the baths is so big I had to climb in it to clean it. I also did the ground floor of the house. 5 solid hours. £60 earned though which will keep me afloat until the end of the month. I ache all over. I need a shower but I just don't have the energy to go and get one.
Thankfully I came home and back and front garden have had their grass cut and DD had dusted and hoovered everywhere. It took me 55 minutes to drive home a journey which normally takes about 20. Don't get me wrong this drive warms the soul as it is through some of the most beautiful scenery in the world but at 5 miles per hour at some points it got a bit boring. It was so busy with tourists. I just cranked up the radio and looked at all the beautiful houses up on the hills that normally you would miss when driving past.
So I spent £30 on petrol and £2.10 on water and an instant pasta dinner for my lunch. I was annoyed at this spend as if I had thought then i had things in the house I could have taken at no cost . Eejit.
So back to work tomorrow and into my new post. No more staff. I have one more end of year report to do and that's my duty done. Need to learn a new part of my job but I'm sure that'll be fine. Am looking forward to it.

My son is driving me batty :mad:. Teenage boys are so horrible and such a pain!! He is ironing his shirt for school and I happened to say that he would only be wearing them for another few days as he stops school at the end of this week for study leave but the bold boy then announces that he will be wearing a shirt and tie to college and I couldn't say anything as it was nothing to do with me and wouldn't affect me !!! I pointed out that I would have to comfort him when he gets beaten up for being an eejit. I swear he tests my patience so so much  He has not got a clue. This is the boy who wants to go to uni at the other end of the country. I despair !!5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Spent £5 today on slimming club and at last got my 1 stone award :j. It has been a struggle. I now have 4 weeks 6 days until my holidays so I am desperately going to try and get another stone off. Most of my summer clothes will be fine if I get that off and will save me a few pounds on outfits. A girl I'm friendly with in work gave me 2 beautiful tops today that will be perfect for my holidays. I don't reckon I will need much more. Might get another bathing cossie but might just make do with one. I'll see. I defo need new bras but will get them nearer the time so they are lovely and white.
No other spends and I appear to have knocked another 2 months off of my DFD . Only 5.5yrs to go :rotfl:. I have noticed though that even the smallest overpayment can make a big difference to the DFD as obviously the compound interest lessens. So I need to keep trying to overpay when I can. I can only do my best.
I enjoyed work today. No staff hassles and just lefy to get on with my work. Peace perfect peace. I bust my target so I am happy with that. I kept telling everyone I'd been sacked and the shocked looks were highly amusing as everyone knows the job I was doing was impossible for one person on their own.
I hope everyone is well. I saw 2 horrible crashes on way home. 1 involved 6 cars in a shunt which would not be too bad although there were 2 ambulances. The other was terrible and was a car that had been driven through Arnold Clark showroom window and looked horrific. The horrible thing was I couldn't get a hold of DD and I knew she was driving today and all I could see were police cars and ambulances whizzing by. Thank God for hands free as I managed to get her and my niece and make sure they were safe. My brother comes home from the other direction and he had been messaging us all like crazy. It really is a terrible road and it's the only way home for us. Gets worse every summer due to tourist traffic and eejit drivers. So best driving head on for next few months5 Year plan. Re what I was saying about the interest. I just added on the £90 I spent on sandals to the snowball and it added £234 to my total and a month to my DFD  Shocking and makes buying the sandals a bloody expensive move. I'll be working even harder to pay this lot off. I am in shock :eek::eek:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

:j:j Congratulations on your stone award :j:j.
Yay to free tops and DFD being closer too! It's amazing how much I've cleared from my debt making teeny extra payments every week of a few pennies and pounds. It all makes a difference, especially to the interest.
Fingers crossed all involved in those crashes got out alive XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
