A good job jobbed there MiT :T
Snap!We had fish fingers, chips and beans here tonight - I was too tired to stand and cook a big meal as well and we've only batch chilli left - which is always the Saturday night dinner, courtesy of DS and Aspie routine.
See you later :rotfl: I know what you mean, this place is quite addictive but at the same time pushes me on to do stuff. A double edge sword - or not if I don't move myself and actually 'do'
Hope the knitting is coming along...I remember knit one, pearl one...never made anything remotely better than a scarf, with dropped stitches :rotfl: I won't give up my day jobBack on the DFW Wagon:

Ah but did you have barbecue beans? Yummy
Got loads of knitting done and nearly finished the cardigan I am knotting. I just have the button bands to do. Then I will get the hat done. I am definitely knitting myself an Aran cardi after that. I knit for everyone else so I am going to do one for me.
NSD again todayso that's brilliant. Won't be tomorrow though as I need to get birthday cards and a gift for my friend's Mum. I also need to get flowers for cemetery as my Dad's birthday tomorrow and I'll get some flowers for my old Aunties for Easter, might be cheaper getting them an Easter egg though. I'll decide tomorrow.
So work at 10am. DS is going to his Dad's afterwards so DD and I will have a girly afternoon in peace without the noisy boy.

Well done on all the knitting. What about making some to sell on FB pages?
Gosh, yes all those beds today, was it a hotel?

Pm'd you the house Ali. So if you fance a wee break in Scotland you know where to come. Only about £3.5k for a long weekend :rotfl:
Spendy day for me today. Bought 3 necklaces from Amazon for 99p each. They're really nice. I like them for myself but if no good for me then I will sell them on at car boot sale at a hugely inflated price of £2. Spent 99p on padded envelopes. £ 1.25 on postage. £20.85 on a voucher for my friend's Mum for afternoon tea for her 70th Birthday. £4 on cards and £9.65 in Aldi. Never mind it was all necessary spends. I'm going to pay the £32.50 I made today for cleaning to CC as I kind of made a vow to myself that I would start to do this again. It might leave me short but if so then I will use card for petrol. Hopefully I will get by as I have a few pounds going into my account from cleaning, sales etc. Gut from gumtree didn't get back to me re wine chiller but am determined it's not going for less than £70. I'll just keep it myself.
Am meant to be going to a party tonight but I am very tired. I've had a very upset tummy last 2 days ( maybe some dodgy chicken) and I am washed out. Would be a good night but am too tired. Heading to my friends tomorrow for dinner and if weather is as lovely as today we will sit out on the decking with a few wee swifties

That house is amazing! Yes, do book us in for a weekend :rotfl::rotfl:
You never know...I've actually bought a lottery ticket for tonight, the first time in over 6 months I think.
Hope your tummy is better and you're fit and well for your lunch tomorrow.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Well I got one number in the lottery so am afraid it'll have to wait.
Just sitting here thinking. 20 years ago tonight I was in labour with my daughter. She's away out again tonight with her friends to celebrate up in Glasgow. I don't like her going out up there as it is just such a busy place and so easy to get separated from her friends. She is a great girl and she's pretty sensible but she will not be home until about 4am and I will not sleep until she's in. Am gonna be tired tomorrow.
Well that's the heating turned off at nights now unless it gets really cold. I've still left it on for a couple of hours in the morning as it's too cold to get up and shower. I forgot to say I have managed with loads and loads of nagging to get my electricity down from £91 per month to £73. Still ridiculous but much better than it was. Am definitely concerned though about how much it will now go up with DS being off of school so much as he will be gaming all day . If it goes up too much then I am going to make him pay it. Harsh maybe but I have warned him so many times that this may be the only way he learns.
Still knitting. Onto a wee hat now. I'll pop on a pic when it's finished. Really cute.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Have also switched the heating off now hopefully till next winter. My lot often walk around in T shirt's and complain its abit chilly.
I know what you mean about the kids going out for the night, my eldest is 27 and I still worry, thankfully he makes such a racket coming in, I know that he's arrived and I can go to sleep.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -
Amber. I'm the cold one in this house. I have the heating on and both kids turn down their radiators whereas I am practically planking mine :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Happy Easter folks. Hope you are all having a lovely day. PLMBL I was wakened on and off till 3am and she then texted saying she was staying at her BF's . I could have choked her.
Anyway, today I have been to church ( spent £4) DD is away to ASDA for some cider for later as heading to my friend's for dinner and it is a glorious day here today so we will will jollification and shenanigans in the sun. My ex in laws brought me wine so I will take that down for the hosts. They only live about 15 minutes away so we will just walk down and back. Saves the taxi fares.
I was actually getting into a mild panic last night as realised I still had 2 cc payments to come out and my phone bill to pay. Total for that is £91 and I only have £30 approx. I've still got £60 to get for the cleaning shift I did on Friday but I need petrol and any wee bits and pieces of fresh food. However, I got a call this morning asking me to do a wee cleaning shift tomorrow. Be about 5 hrs in total but £60 will be paid. I should get the 2 payments during the week. £120 will cover my costs until next weekend. DD gets paid then so I will get her dig money and all will be well
Phew !!
