  • Yep all going well Milann.

Am off work for 2 weeks :j:j. Well main job anyway. Still have cleaning shifts and laundry to do but it's all good.

DD has a new B/F and he is very nice. They are all loved up. So nice to see and brings back fond memories of courting days ;)

Not much movement on the money front. Have some laundry money due and I will get £50 this weekend for cleaning but will be end of month before I get any more.

My niece an dher boyfriend have just bought their first house and they are so excited. I was in ikea today and bought her a few bits and pieces and she was so excited when I gave her them tonight. I've told them I will buy them their washing machine when they are moving in. Just means that when/if they get married she will get a smaller gift.

Having a Game of Thrones fest whilst I am off as I have never watched it. Now on season 2 and it is very good. Bit saucy mind you :o.

I hope everyone is well and marching along nicely xx

  • I am enjoying it but can't see yet what all the hype is about. It's good but I've seen better. I'll keep going. I think I am having to concentrate too hard on it and I am losing where the plot is. I rarely watch telly without either being on computer or knitting or footering about so I do tend to miss things :o

  • Evening folks. Got paid today for big cleaning contract and also a small one and paid off £945  am so so happy but I tell you I cannot wait until I can actually spend this money I am making as I am going to have so much fun.

Was at Bruce Springsteen concert last night and it was amazing as usual. I actually love him. The comments between my friend and I about him were very inappropriate and then we started talking about how sad we will be when he dies :rotfl:. Cocktails had been consumed.

So it's all getting very exciting again. I've put £500 away for DD's wardrobe and hopefully get that done during June. Work is okay just now and I have thrown in a form for promotion again and I'll see how that goes.

Got a night out tomorrow for my friend's retirement but I will drive so will only spend a couple of pounds. I did pay £40 today for her cake mind you. I'm then out for some food and drinks on Saturday night. No wonder I'm bloody fat as I'm out all the time and always revolves around food and drink :D. Ach well you're a long time dead.

Some poor biker killed here today. Happens umpteen times every summer as the road up Loch Lomondside looks quite innocent but it takes lots of lives every year. DD got caught in the traffic and said the body was lying in the road covered so she is a bit traumatised by it all understandably

So an evening of laundry for me and starting my earnings for June. Poor washing machine is never off. Hope all is well xx

  • You sound really happy! Lovely to hear.

RIP to the biker :(. Hope DD is ok.

    Good luck for promotion Xx
