  • If you think my signature was sexy before then check it out now :j:j:j. So exciting. It is truly amazing what can be done when the effort is put in. I'm knackered half the time and diet etc has gone to pot but hey ho the debt has got to be priority just now, Very happy with how its going

V I'm going to check out my offers for transfer tomorrow and get money transferred over. No interest until 14th June so I have a few days to sort it out.

Heading out for an Indian tonight and a few drinks with friends so I best heave my sorry backside off of the couch and start getting ready. Was working until 2.30 since 9am and doing washing after washing since I arrived home. Need to give myself a wee shake and get a move on. Have a nice weekend folks xx

  • Hello MIT

Great to see how well things are going x

    May 2013 new beginnings:j
  • Thanks KP. All going well except that I am so busy that I haven't had time to turn around. July however will be slightly quieter thankfully as I am knackered.

But hey I'm in the £8k's and I am so so thrilled. I'm really getting there. Probably be dead by the end of it :rotfl:. Joking obvi

Not be too long until my holiday and I am really looking forward to it. I did a days overtime and also have my payrise and bonus at end of July so that should cover the rest of my costs so can still keep paying debt off. Earnings will be down a bit this month as I have been getting over £1k every month and will probably only get half of that this month but I'm really not bothered as I really need the break.

One of my clients has bought another massive house. It's over an hour away from here so not feasible to get involved but they have asked me to house sit for a few days and to test drive it with a few friends. Such a hardship  It is in the middle of nowhere and it has 10 bedrooms etc etc etc. Jacuzzi, gym, cinema room blah blah. Surrounded by fantastic Scottish countryside so it will be fab.

Anyway am off to bed so take care all. I'll be back soon xx

It'll be gone in no time, I'm so happy for you xx
  • Nonnie me too. My debt seems almost normal now instead of ridiculous. Just need to keep my motivation up.
Won £25 on lottery this week so I can pay that off but definitely less cash this month. I'll do my best though and get it down as much as I can

My niece and her boyfriend have bought a Wee house so I am buying them their washing machine. We got it ordered tonight so one less job to do

Both kids working tonight. DD is going to T in the park again this weekend so I'll be on standby 'just incase' 😂

I loved your diary!! Took me a good few weeks to get through it all - it is like my new favorite book! Need to start on your old diaries soon to get my fix now I've finished!! I don't know what it is, but way you describe things and talk about your job, cow of an old boss, what your kids are up to I just find you hilarious! Especially the things you tell about your son, sounds like mine...he can drive me round the bend at times!! And my daughter isn't far behind him! :rotfl: but if you don't laugh, you'll cry!!

You are doing so well!!! In the £8's now...that kitchen will be getting installed before you know it. The end is in sight!! :j xxx
    Starting debt £18,675.63
    Current debt: £5,000 (16/05/18)
  • PLMBL I only have 1 niece on my side of family and don't really see ex's family so she deserves to be spoiled. They have saved so hard to get on the property ladder so any help I can give then I will.

Reality check God love you reading all my drivel. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm not on nearly as much as I used to be as I am so busy.

Laundry and cleaning a bit quieter but am going to head in on 3 Sundays to normal work and make up difference with that.I need spends for my holiday. Only 6 weeks until I go away. Passport arrived today so hopefully all will be well.Very very hot there just now mind you so I might end up not moving from the air con

I sent the kids a text the other day with some house rules. Was told I was 'ridiculous' by DS but I posted it onto facebook and every Mum on my friends list stole it for their kids. Here it is :rotfl:

Don't leave shoes lying. Put them away in back hall
Don't leave jackets lying- hang them up
Don't leave bags lying.- put them away
If you drop stuff when in a cupboard/ drawer etc pick it up
No dinners in bedrooms as its bloody disgusting
Put away hairbrush, hairspray, iron, ironing board etc etc after use
    Close cupboard doors
Put dishes in dishwasher but scrape them first so they wash properly
DS do kitchen every night you are in
DD keep washing up to date. And also sort it and split it up instead of just leaving it lying. Full job to be done please
If you open a letter or parcel then dispose of the envelopes or wrappers. Do not toss them on floor
    Empty bins when needed
    Recycle recycle recycle
If I ask you to do something I.e go to bottle bank or charity shop then do it
    Open blinds
Clean bedroom and change bed every weekend.
Help with cooking we can discuss a weekly menu
    Put keys on key holder
Don't leave towels on bathroom floor and clean up tan etc from bath as its like showering in !!!!!
Put toothbrushes and toothpaste away and clean any toothpaste off of basin and put lid on toothpaste also any soap spillages.
Put empty shampoo bottles etc in bin
Do not leave shaving stuff in views X clean up shaving mess whether it be legs or face.

Put all washing in basket. Not on it or beside it but in it
    Clean !!!! off of toilet
    Change toilet roll when empty
Do not leave anything lying in hall
Do not dump everything in my tiny tiny room
Take turns cooking dinner and learn how to cook healthy tasty meals. I'll be doing you a favour as you can eat cheaply when you get your own place
Do not leave washing clothes until last minute ( midnight) etc
Put lights off when not using
Put electrical items off when not using
Make me a cuppa now and again 😀
Help me with shopping and putting it away without any moaning
Do not tell me NO when I ask for help
Put the table up every couple of nights so we can eat a nice dinner - would be so nice to come home and just have to sit down to my dinner instead of everyone disappearing and leaving me to get on with it

    Stop constantly lying in bed
    Stop wasting food

I am happy to clean the house with some help but no longer happy to pick things up after you.

    You're welcome xx
