  • The only one I wouldn't need is about putting groceries away. My pair always wanted to see what was coming into the house to get first dibs on it.

I can relate to every one of those rules being needed in this house!!

The no toilet paper drives me up the wall!!! DS will use it all without a second thought and then DD will either finish it or leave about a square on it so that that counts as not finishing it!!!

But it is my fault, I am the live in maid to them and they know I won't leave it so do it anyway...but I am still entitled to moan about it!! :rotfl:
    Starting debt £18,675.63
    Current debt: £5,000 (16/05/18)
  • My own fault too. I just don't have the energy to fight with them. Every so often I do my duster and it works for a Wee while but never for long.
Had a Wee cleaning shift today and doing the laundry for it just now so about £60 for that. Working in normal work tomorrow and then a cleaning shift on Monday. Going to be tired . Not bothered though as I just get so bored when I have nothing to do and when I have time in the house I end up not doing the housework but sitting on couch watching telly.
Just been trying on my new holiday clothes and am getting all excited. 5 weeks today we will be there for a whole glorious week in the sun. I cannot wait.
Going to press some laundry and have an early night tonight. Been getting lots of chat from dd at t in the park and she says it's fabulous and they are having a great old time.
Have a great weekend folks xx

  • Wow not been on for nearly a month:o. Still working away though at getting debt down. Not in the 7's yet but will be by end of month.

Getting busy again. Loads on this month and also a wee week in Spain which I am very much looking forward to. I head off next Saturday and just can't wait for the break.

Life is pretty stable just now. Debt is at its lowest in years. Kids are doing well and my life is pretty good too. Don't you get a bit scared when things are running so smoothly?

I am getting more excited about the things I will be doing in the house soon. Definitely bathroom first. Then french doors with new shed out in back garden. Then will be kitchen. Hopefully all done within 2 years :D. I hope you guys are all good xx

Is all the debt at 0% now? Won't be long before it's all gone. Wonderfully well done.

  • Yes V all at 0% and should hopefully have it all paid off before the deals run out. I only have 2 cards now. I started with 7 so this is a huge deal. Granted they are my biggest ones but I have started to hammer one down and hopefully it wont be long before it is gone. I'm hoping to be rid of it by Christmas. £3.5k so I'll do my best but I can only pay off what I get so we will see.

I'm supposed to be doing overtime in full time job this weekend but I don't think I can be bothered. So boring and at the weekend the targets are very high so it's frowned upon if you talk and I just can't help myself :o. I end up having the place in uproar and everyone laughing so I was told I was barred. I'm not but tbh I can't be faffed. I have 2 cottages to clean tomorrow and rest of weekend will be catching up and getting packed for hols.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend xx

You sound a hoot to work with! I guess even you need a break sometimes though. I hope you have a lovely time away.

  • Wee story about my day in work today V

I was really itchy so obviously reacting to something I'd eaten and I took an anti-histamine. Wee while later I felt a really sharp pain in my boob and ended up in the loo to see what on earth was going on. Turns out the wire in my bra had snapped and metal was stabbing me. So as I couldn't pull the wire out I stuck some loo roll down my bra to keep me comfortable. I then turned round to get loo roll to wipe my bits and it was empty. So had to strip down again to get some from my bra for essential needs. Bloody exhausted by the time I got back to my desk.:rotfl::rotfl:

Struggling a bit this month with cash as I have my holiday on Saturday and I need spending money. So busy and determined paying off my debt that I didn't save anything up. Never mind. I'll get there

Getting excited now as lots of messages and texts flying around re plans for Saturday morning. Taxi at 6.30am and already planned to go and see a band in Spain in the afternoon :o
