  • Happy weekend folks. Well I have survived the crazy month that was April and today got £805 payment so it was all worth it. Going to pay off £505 from CC and keep £300 back for wardrobe costs. Wouldn't it be wonderful to just go on a shopping spree? Not be long before I can do just that :D

Wee cleaning job tomorrow and will get about £80 between cleaning and laundry. I am booked at least twice for laundry and cleaning until end of June now so that's brilliant as will average approx £250 a week :T. Fingers crossed it all works out like that anyway.

I hope everyone has a fab bank holiday weekend xx

  • I know. So exciting. Paid another £50 off today so even closer now. If I used the other £300 that I have put by then I would be in the 10's :(

  • Thanks Danetastic. I am feeling very positive that this time I will get it all cleared barring any disasters occurring.

Went out to a friends last night for chinese and chat. Was a fab wee night. Loads of laughs. Just what I needed as DS was being a pain in the a$$ yet again and I was glad to get away from him.

Spent nearly £30 between buying some booze, chinese and taxi home but still a relatively cheap night out. Feeling nice and fresh this morning and ready to do my laundry mountain . Going to try and get it cleared and also get house sorted in between times. Busy wee day but I want tomorrow to be clear so I can do grocery shopping and maybe go and look at kitchens again :o

I feel I can look now as I am within spitting distance and I get so excited at that thought

  • Just checked on the CC I'm concentrating on just now and I have until 14.5.16 to clear the £1800 so I am going to do my best to get that done. I then have £4.5k to pay by July before 0% runs out :rotfl::rotfl:. I am receiving deals in all the time just now though so I will just balance transfer come July. This is such a lovely position to be in so if any of you think you will never get on a more solid footing I can tell you that if you are determined enough then you will. It's hard work but so so worth it. When I started I couldn't get a deal for love nor money and now the companies are throwing them at me and I also keep getting letters increasing my limits. I have about 5 accounts on the go just now and I will keep them all opened until I have paid everything off so I can move the debt about. Once paid off though then I will be closing all accounts except the bank one.

  • V her birthday was 2 weeks ago :o. Handyman came yesterday to have a look and see what would be best. Ihad bought sliding doors off of facebook but we dont know where they were from originally so we have no idea where to buy tracks etc. Also guy saud by time he builds carcass for it etc I am cheaper going to ikea and buying one. Si that's what we will be doing. DD has a wardrobe, dressing table, desk and the sliding doors to sell so we can use that money to buy the accessories for the wardrobes and get them done just as she wants. When she leaves they will probably stay here anyway so I am just going to fork out the money for them and get her room sorted out.

Luciele overdraft is fine just now but I will no doubt creep in to it again before end of month. I have however warned everyone that this month will be a lean one. Seems ridiculous considering I have brought in nearly £3k in earnings but hey ho there was a road for that.

Handyman is going to give me a price for kitchen and bathroom so I have a good idea of what it will cost me when I get round to getting them done :D:D:D:D
