Good morning folks. I got up this morning and because the sun was shining I immediately put on washing machine, dryer and tidied my riot of a kitchen. Kids have looked after me well but they leave everything at their backsides whilst they are at it. I have had to throw out about £15 of fresh food  as they have lived off of takeaways all week instead of the food I bought in for them . I now feel sick and dizzy so am sitting down for a wee while :rotfl:
Was going to go out for a while today but I think I will settle for a shower and a quiet day.
I hope the sun is shining for you wherever you are xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Please take it easy and don't try too much too soon - it'll take longer in the end if you do - lol - voice of experience talking here.............if I'd have taken heed and not done too much too soon after previous op - I might not have needed the last hernia op I had to have at Christmas!!

Did my pressing this morning and had allowed laundry to get too dry so had to hand iron it which took 3 hours . I felt fine when I started but a total wreck by time I was done. I have however sat down for the rest of the day and am feeling a bit better again now. I will go to docs again tomorrow if not feeling any better.
I had quite a lot of bits of cream Aran wool so I have started crocheting a large blanket with it. My plan is to use it in a 'designer' fashion in my new lounge ( when I get my extension). I've seen it done in a couple of the houses I clean and it looks amazing so I'm stealing the idea. Been watching home programmes all day and really inspiring me to keep going with debt reduction. I'm due £90 this week for laundry I have done so that can make another wee inroads to the debt total.
Having lunch tomorrow with a client who I have become very friendly with so that should be nice. I also have a day out with friends on Saturday so a nice wee week ahead so long as antibiotics do their stuff.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi folks. Got £155 today from laundry and cleaning and paid it straight off of CC. Saved myself > £400 in interest and knocked another 2 months off of DFD
.
Still not feeling very great. Still lots of discomfort so if no better by tomorrow am going to call GP again and see what can be done as I can't stand the thought of being like this all weekend. No appointment yet to go in and get stent removed but if no word tomorrow I will phone and see when I can get in and get it done. I'm a bit wary though as I am so tender I think it may be quite sore .
Still crocheting so blanket is getting nice and big. I bought wool today to finish it off as I didn't think it was big enough yet. Cost me £6.99 for the wool but if that's all it ends up costing me then I will be very happy as they are at least £50 to buy.
I've spent loads of time this week looking at colour charts and sites to get ideas on my new lounge etc when I get the extension built. DS doesn't believe me but it is going to happen ASAP. Hopefully this time next year. All very exciting.
No other spends today as I went for lunch with my aunt and she paid so it's all good5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Yesterday I did a cleaning shift and today I cleaned 2 houses with DS. Paid £56.50 off of CC from cleaning money. STill got £140 to get for laundry from 1 client and £90 for stuff I picked up today. August looks like a very busy month for me so long as I am fit for work
. I did actually refuse £70 worth of laundry yesterday as I felt so ill I didn't think I would manage it but today I am feeling so much better
. Still slight discomfort but no longer feel as if someone is stabbing me
. Still shattered but am expecting that until I get stent removed.
Had a lovely wee afternoon and evening with good friends. Got £45 from our wee savings fund and only spent £25 which was for drinks and a meal. I wasn't on any alcohol as I was too scared about how my body would react. So soft drinks and a dynamite curry.
Nice day at home tomorrow. If I have the energy I will get my house cleaned but I also have a fair whack of laundry to get done as well. No intentions of moving out of the house though.
I managed last month to keep £100 in my Christmas savings and also reduced o/d by £50 so it's all going in the right direction5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
