  • Evening all. Lovely weekend been had by me.I wasn't working all weekend so I had a great wee day out with a friend on Saturday and spent Sunday clearing out and listing a few things locally for sale.

I sold a spa set for £5 so paid that straight off of the CC I am now concentrating on. Not sure what earnings will be like this month due to surgery but I'll do my best.

I bought a new television on Saturday with my birthday money. I also got a home theatre system. We are so delighted with it all as our TV was ancient. It is a 48" LCD smart tv, so all singing and all dancing. DS keeps touching it :rotfl:. Must admit it's amazing watching HD now.

Completely lost the plot with my eating the last couple of weeks and it's really annoying me but the more I try to curb it the worse I am getting.

I am working all week in normal job and also Wed night and Saturday morning doing cleaning. I also have lots of laundry home with me but I'll do that later in the week as no rush for it.

So all is well here. I hope you guys are the same

  • Happy Sunday folks. I'm getting really bad at coming on here but I have 10 minutes to wait until dryer is done with a load of laundry for me to press hence I have a 'spare' 10 minutes.

I have carrot and coriander soup in a slow cooker and lentil with red peppers in another. Getting organised for work as I am finding myself spending money on lunches recently. This is naughty on two counts as it's an unnecessary spend and also they are usually off plan for slimming world. I have been at a stalemate with SW recently but am hoping I can get back on track this week. It's weird because I am so used to being 3.5 stones lighter that I now feel fat at this size instead of feeling much slimmer. So time to move my backside again and get moving.

I've got pork chops, cabbage, cauliflower and potatoes out for dinner so I should be nice and full after that which will make it easier to stick to plan. I had HM lentil from freezer for lunch and I am stuffed.

Going to see Bette Midler tomorrow night which I am very much looking forward to. It's a freebie for me as my friend got the tickets as a gift and she is taking me :D. I'll need to buy my dinner and pay parking but till a very cheap night. I then have my pre op on Tuesday and go in to get the kidney stone away once and for all on 21st. I can't wait to get rid of it and hopefully feel a bit more energetic.

Can't decide whether to run about mad this afternoon cleaning up or sit on the sofa and knit whilst I move washing around. I am not going to press it as DD has not paid any digs this week :mad:and I'm waiting on her waking up to have a word with her about that. She was at T in the park yesterday. Got drunk and missed her bus home so her and her friends had to pay for a taxi which cost them £160 :eek:. Called me to tell me she had done a bunjee @ £25 but I've just realised she hasn't put the digs money in my account. So she will do the pressing for me in lieu of money owed. I am also going to make her clean the rest of the house as she is just not on and is taking the mickey now due to my good nature. She's dead meat when she eventually surfaces

I seem to have sold my hob, unit and stereo so thats a £110 to add to the CC debt payments. This card will be gone before I know it. I hope

So have a good days folks. Take care xx

  • OMG £160 for a taxi???!! I would just cry!

I know what you mean about feeling fat at the size you are now. I've got used to the weight I am now after sticking for a while earlier on in the year, so I am on a downer with myself rather than being pleased for losing over 3 stones. We are never happy eh?! Xx

  • She did cry but they were stranded and didn't really know where they were either so it was the safest way to get home.

What struck me yesterday regarding the weight was I just wanted to wear 'fat' clothes. I have been wearing lovely dresses etc and yesterday I hid under a pair of black jeans a vest top and a baggy black shirt. So today I am back on track and hope to stay on track. I don't like my confidence taking a beating like that but only person who can sort it out is me x

  • Just home from a Bette Midler concert in Glasgow. What a show :D. My pal had gotten tickets and took me with her. I have always liked Bette Midler but never been a huge fan but wowsa it was one of the best shows I have ever been to. I did spend a fair bit though as I bought dinner and had train fares to pay. Still a cheap night considering the tickets were £100 each

Got my pre op tomorrow. In quite a bit of discomfort now so am looking forward to getting rid of this stone next week,

Watching biggest loser and then bed. Need the motivation :o

  • :rotfl:INOD I keep telling everyone I'm going to lose a stone in my sleep. Prob weighs about an ounce

Cleared out a huge cupboard tonight in my kitchen and have put another few things up for sale. They are gadgets that I never use so it's time they are gone. Cupboard all nice and bleached clean now :D

Got my pre op today and all appears to be well. The doctor who attended to me looked about 12  I must be getting old.

Didn't go to slimming club tonight as I have been so bad. I got an ASDA delivery tonight though so I am stocked up again. No more excuses. I am spending a fortune on food just now though as both kids home most of the time. ike bloody termites.

Such a lovely day here today. Got washing dried outside. Been raining for weeks so it was lovely to see the sun.

Anyway, early night for me as the second half of y week will be crazy xx
