INOD I'm running on empty a wee bit this weekend. Was up washing until 1am and back up since 7.45. Just about to get ready and go to cleaning job and tbh I can see it far enough. Never mind. I will be debt free much quicker this way so it'll be worth it in the end
Oh and the 51.5lbs off in weight certainly helps in the energy stakes5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Evening folks. I've got 2 minutes before I need to get changed and head out for dinner for my best friend's 50th. We're having a big night out on Saturday but it's her birthday today so we will have a wee night tonight. I'm driving so all will be well. I'll try and make sensible food choices as well as I gained 1.5lbs this week.
Since 1st June I have managed to pay £525 to my CC as additional payments. I am now in the £16k's :j:j and all is going great guns. My DFD has come back another year so that's fab as well. Each payment I make reduces the debt and the length of time I will take to get rid of it. FAB-U-LOUS. I do find myself thinking though that it is such a shame the money is not being saved rather than paying off debt but then I think it's the debt that is motivating me to do all this and at some point the money will be saved so it's all good.
Remember the good old kidney stone I had? Well it appears that I still have it . It's fallen down and is now almost in my bladder so it looks like surgery will be on the cards.
My birthday party is next week and I am so looking forward to it. It'll be a fab night. I have not lifted a finger or spent a penny on it although I have told them that I will do a sweetie table.
DS's leavers dance was last night and him and DD had gone to Glasgow on Monday and purchased a suit, shirt etc. It cost me nearly £200 all in but it is probably the last school related thing I will buy as he is heading to college in September and will have his own funds. He called me in a panic last night as he had split the trousers right down the back when he sat down and he was having to use the suit jacket to hide his dignity. I then had to drive for 40 mins to get to Glasgow with his other suit and the drive 40 mins back after delivering it to him. I was fit to be tied and he was devastated. DD took suit back today and we got a full refund and he was told to keep the rather expensive shirt, the silk tie and silk pocket handkerchief in compensation for his distress. I'm delighted as I now paid nothing for his prom night ( well except the ticket money and spends)
Anyway I best go and get changed and head out for dinner. Life is hard :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening all. It was my party last night and we had a ball. Place was jumping and dancefloor was full. Photo booth was a huge hit and so was sweetie table. Best night ever.
I was spoiled beyond belief. £400 in money and enough bling to satisfy me for a long time. Beautiful handbags including a purple Ness one which I'm in love with. What a weekend. If 50 continues as good as this then bring it on
Money wise my bank balance is a bit sickly but I will sort it out over next couple of months. CC overpayments are still doing well so I am happy enough with that. Kids have been warned that after this week is over then I will be being as frugal as possible to pull back the overdraft ASAP. The money I have been given as gifts will be used to buy myself a new laptop as I have been having so many issues with mine. It's just about 5 years old now as it belonged to my Mum. The fan is going constantly inside it so I am going to treat myself. Heading off to look at computers now xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Glad your party was fab. Sometimes when the fan is going so much it's actually full of dust - can you blow some of it out and it might cool down a bit.Sealed pot challenge 822

Thanks guys. PLMBL I felt amazing. I got my hair done and had a girl in to do my makeup so I really felt good. Unfortunately I put on 7lbs tonight at fat club :eek:
INOD I always feel that when folks give you money gifts then you should let them know what you buy. I really want an actifry as well so if I have enough left that is what I will get myself.
Dawny I'll get DS to take it apart and clean it out for me. It's about 5yrs old though so it's done pretty well.
I put the cash into the bank today as I was dipping into it and I don't want to waste it. I also banked £26 in change so I will pay that off of CC . I must admit though that I am finding it hard to spend the money on myself but I am 100% going to.
My SW consultant had posted me a card with £10 in it and gave me a pack of the new hifi bars tonight. One of the wee women from the group gave me a SW cool bag, a bottle of wine and she made me a scan bran gingerbread. How kind was that? Yesterday and today has been a wee stream of folks coming to my desk in work with gifts and it's not even my birthday yet. I'm overwhelmed by it all. I have 3 nights out this week and then I am defo having a break as I am knackered :rotfl: It's an age thing !!

Afternoon guys. I have survived the crazy birthdays schedule. I feel as if I have aged about 10 yrs in a month :rotfl:
I am trying to catch up on things today and I haven't stopped since I got out of bed. I'm back on diet and so glad I am as I feel so sluggish it's ridiculous. So glad to be getting back to normal although it has been an amazing few weeks. I'm sick of eating and drinking. No more 50th's now until October and then we'll do it all again but I want 2 stones off by then and to have paid off my overdraft which is creeping up and up. I'm not going to stress about it though as I have had a great time. I am not going to use any of the self employed money to pay off overdraft but I am going to try and bring it down with my normal income and keep paying off CC with self employment money.
Today is another beginning. Money and diet will be under control from now on. I am focused again and excited about it all.
Hopefully I will have time to come on here a lot more now. I hope everyone is well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
