Evening all. What a day I've had. All good though.
Went for lunch with DD and one of my friends and it was so yum. We were in a rather posh area and I dragged them around the charity shops. I got a jacques vert dress for £15 and I love it. I feel amazing in it. I also got brand new black leather shoes for £5 and they are £60 normally. I also got a red sequinned top .......just because I love sparkles and I love red
I then went for my 6 monthly check up at the gym. I hate the gym but I use the guy there for advice and if you join the local live active scheme you get money off at the pool etc. I said to him I would like to swim to add to my exercise but that I wasn't very good. He suggested swimming lessons so I went to my first one tonight and it was great fun. Hard work but I really enjoyed it.
So all in all a good day and I also got 3 loads of my own washing line dried as was a gorgeous day here. That's probably our summer :rotfl:
So although I have spent a fair whack today I do feel that I have got fab bargains and my swimming lesson was only £2.55. DD sat her last first year exam yesterday so I wanted to treat her to a wee lunch. Skint again :rotfl: but happy
Meeting my friend at her leisure club tomorrow for a while in the gym and a swim. We'll then have a small lunch and a good old blether ..............Loving life5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I think the meds help Verbatim :rotfl:
A lovely day at the gym, spa and pool with my friend. We then went to local pub for some lunch. I just had soup so it was all good. The swim etc was free as she is a member and I was only £6 for soup and juice so nice cheap wee day.
The house we clean and do laundry for on Saturday was empty so I collected the laundry from it today and I've got that on just now. I'll pick up the laundry from the other house when it's emptied on Saturday.
I've got dancing tonight which will be another £4. I feel as if I'm being quite spendy just now re weight loss but I'm happy with it as I am enjoying the exercise and reaping the benefits of losing weight.
Started clearing out my bedroom this morning and found loads of jewellery that I had forgotten about so that's exciting. I tried on my pearls that my Aunt bought me at my 21st birthday and they fit me for the first time in many many years. I am so pleased as they are real pearls and so classy.
Trying to finish off a few baby cardigans that have been ordered so I best get on before I head down to dancing. XX5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

hello there. Got paid early for cleaning stint tomorrow so I paid off £50 to CC. I am pretty confident I will be rid of this one by end of June. Still £1300 + to pay but I am going for it big time. One of my 0% deals ends in Jan 2016 so that'll be the next card I hit hard. It's over £5k so I'm not going to manage to pay that off in 7 months but I'll get rid of as much as I can then do a balance transfer. I then have a £4k+ card on 0% as well that ends in May so there's no chance that will go so I will be looking for a hefty balance transfer come May - unless I win the lottery
Still knitting. Am owed some money for the garments so I am going to use that to buy wool to do myself a lovely sparkly shrug to wear with my dress for my party. I am watching series 3 of Damages with Glenn Close and just chilling. I love this kind of dramatic intrigue type of programme but find that you really need to concentrate on this one to keep up with the storyline x5 Year plan. Dearie me. 3 days have passed since I was on here. Been ultra busy as back to day job tomorrow and wanting everything else cleared before I go back
. Not managing it mind you. Kids will be off though so I will leave instructions
DS is looking for work over the holiday period before he heads to college or uni. His final exam was today so today is officially the last day I need to fork out £8 for him to get to school. Celebration time :j
Was working today and house was minging. It was a hen party. There was puke in buckets and in toilets...............poor DD was white as a sheet. They did however leave loads of juice and a nice wee bottle of prosecco that I took home (and I wasn't cleaning the toilets)
Money wise. Things are just moving along. No maintenance yet this month but not really surprising as he is in Florida for 3 weeks with his wife so no doubt supporting his child is not a high priority. !!!! !!
I ordered new sheets today for DD and I as our bedding is for double beds and we have small double beds. Also our sheets are years old and actually are now embarrassing.
My party is 2 weeks on Saturday and I'm really looking forward to it. Everything is all organised and I have not had to lift a finger.
So a wee chilled evening tonight before returning to H E L L tomorrow. Can you tell how much I'm looking forward to it :eek:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Work was okay today. Was actually much better than I expected so all is well.
DS was at an interview today for college and he has been given a place. It is only 8 stops on the train and is on our line so couldn't be handier. Thankfully DS has seen sense and realises that moving out of home just now is just not on for him. I knew he would get there eventually I just had to plant the seeds.
A friend in work who has lost loads of weight gave me 5 bin bags of clothes today. A lot of them fit and I am so chuffed. She buys from M&co, Debenhams, M&S, ETC so all lovely stuff. It has motivated me no end as lots of really nice summery dresses that will look great if I get another few pounds off. I have spent 2 hours trying stuff on there's so much of it. I'll stop on way to work tomorrow and get her some nice flowers as a thank you.
Went to slimming club tonight and stayed the same. Considering I have been out for dinner 3 times this week I am quite happy with that. I do feel super motivated again though with all these beautiful clothes lying here so I will maybe do SP for a couple of days this week as I have a dinner this weekend as well

. Love it when things like that happen.
Congrats also to DS for being offered a place and seeing sense to stop at home. Glad work wasn't too bad XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi folks. Hope everyone is well. I have had a crazy week and I am in doubt over whether I will actually survive this weekend as I am so busy.
Tonight I have bedding for 9 bedrooms and I am just doing one load of wash after another trying to get it done. It all has to then be pressed but I'm hoping DD can do that tomorrow for me. I'll pay her for doing it as she is off to London next week and is totally skint. She'll be glad of the chance to earn some cash. I have 2 houses to clean with DS tomorrow and I am heading out for dinner with friends tomorrow night. I then have the big house to do on Sunday during the day and 2 houses of laundry to get done. I can do them during the week though so that's not too bad. £200+ in my pocket at the end of it though (if I survive)
Been thinking for ages that I would like to write and I have come up with an idea for kids books. I'm jotting down some ideas as they come to me and I am definitely going to have a go and see how I get on.
I went to a fortune teller last night who went on and on about money. All about how I had learned the hard way about managing money but how I was doing well and my fortunes were changing. He more or less told me that my business venture is going to go like a fair and I was to absolutely go for it. I am anyway
