  • Skinny to be honest at the moment no I'm not but I stop tomorrow for a whole 10 days :j:j. I will be busy for 3-4 days doing self employed work but that'll just be part time so I am really really looking forward to some time for me and the kids. Hoping to get some sunshine so DS and I can go for a couple of good long walks.

Still paying as much as I can off of CC debt and definitely feel as if I am at last making inroads to it. I'm still of the opinion that there is no point working this hard unless I use it for debts.

I have a crazy few weeks coming up so I am hoping to use next week to get house super organised and cleared out so that at least that'll be better for me over the next few weeks. Over the next 5 weeks I have 9 different social events at the weekends which is mad but all great stuff...................if I survive :rotfl:

Weight is up again this week due to all the eating and drinking over the weekend when I was away with my friends . I'm annoyed at myself as basically over the last 4 weeks I am only 1.5lbs down. The annoying thing is that the majority of the time I have been good but the bad days just take over unfortunately. I pile weight on so easily which is very scary.

Also looks like I have more kidney stones. I was up for a check up 2 weeks ago and an xray was taken and I have now been called up on Monday for a CT scan. Been getting some pain as well so I won't be surprised.

Anyhoo bedtime and here I am up late again. Last day of work tomorrow though so it's all good. I hope you are all well xx

  • INOD I know and I am so pleased. I've reduced debt by £2.5k since turn of the year which considering my income is pretty awesome.

I'm off this next week so I am going to concentrate on my house and have a massive clearout. I have a cleaning shift today and I will also bring back the laundry and get that done tomorrow. I have a CT scan tomorrow and consultant has actually written to me to let me know I have 'something' in my lower right abdomen so it probably is a stone again :(

So a nice week ahead with a couple of lunches booked in with friends and a chance to catch up. Looking forward to it al lx

  • Afternoon folks. Had a day of pottering about. I'm on my 5th load of washing and drying. I have about another 7 to do but I want to do it during the day whilst the sun is out so I get the electricity at a reduced price due to solar panels. I went to bank when I was out for scan and cashed in £27 of change. I have paid this straight to the CC. I have managed to overpay by £305 so far this month. I am very happy with that. Doing 3 houses cleaning this coming weekend so that'll bring in another £50 at the time and £50 at end of month. I will have either 4 or 5 cleans then so will have £250 + £130 for laundry so this month's overpayments will be fabulous. I'm hoping for around £700. We'll see. I have to buy DS a suit at end of month as well for his leavers dance and I have all the birthday celebrations so it may be tight. I'll do my best though.

Trying to empty my chest freezer this month as well which is taking much longer than I want. Kids are moaning about the lack of food choice but too bad.

Going to have corned beef hash for dinner and veg. Still sticking to healthy eating so I'll hopefully get the few pounds off that I put on last week.

I'm trying to catch up on diaries whilst I am off so will speak to you all soon x

  • Good afternoon. I've had a lovely morning. Am still in my PJ's but have finished off laundry and just need to sit this afternoon and press it all. I also sat and knitted and caught up with telly whilst washing was on. I have cooked an enormous pot of creamy mushroom and tomato sauce (slimming world) and dealt with an aggressive, irate, stressed out son. Had to wait until he calmed down and then have a good few words with him. He has left a school project until the last second and is taking it out on me. He's not bloody on. So a few wee home truths were delivered and he has apologised profusely since then. He's heading to gym now to work out his frustrations. I will get a couple of hours of peace and quiet :D

Going to be a bit of a spendy day today as am going to buy a 12 week countdown at class tonight. Saves me nearly £10 overall and I will definitely have to go for at least 12 weeks so it's worth my while. I also want the new magazine as I love the stories and recipes in it. I'm going to walk down and back as my body magic today.

I've taken chicken out of freezer and I will make a curry for dinner.

So I best get off here and on with my work xx
