So glad it went well, great memories to have. How did the photo booth go down? We were lucky enough to experience a sweet sixteen birthday party last Saturday and that was the first time I had seen one and it was mobbed all night and great fun, would definitely hire one if I was having a party xx
  • Thanks guys. We've had a lovely weekend and finished off tonight with a nice quiet meal which cost me another £100

So celebrations are all over (thank God) I have been thinking about my overdraft and I have decided that I am going to continue to pay off my CC's with my extra earnings and just try and reduce the overdraft from my normal money. I was cleaning today and have also brought the laundry home. I need to have it ready by Thursday morning which will be hard going but I will manage it. I also got a site visit for the new house and that was very exciting. The house will be stunning when it is completed.

Milann I ended up getting a new dress. It was only £16 in Dot Perkin so not a huge expense. I am hoping other dress will be very comfortable by my own party in June. I have however been eating and drinking all weekend and will 100% have a gain this week. I will go to slimming world tomorrow night nad get restarted. I am actually uncomfortable tonight and my itchy skin has started again with a vengeance and I am pretty sure it is due to refined sugar but I will know for sure when I get back on track. If the itch disappears then I will know for sure.

I have kidney consultant tomorrow but am hoping all will be well.

Am now going to get back on track with spends. I have a night out on Friday for my friend's 50th but am taking car and also getting money from the wee night out savings fund which will cover the costs. This fund will also cover costs for an overnight stay we have booked in May in a wee hotel. No other major expenses that I am expecting. June will be expensive again as 2 of my friends will be 50 and we have multiple nights out as well as gifts to buy.

Anyway am heading to bed as knackered xx

  • Sorry I've been missing but between computer problems, work and what looks like a bout of sciatica, things have been very hectic.

Am actually off work sick as my leg is so sore. I need to get back tomorrow though as I have cleaning stints at the weekend and can't go and do them if I haven't managed my main work. I refuse to stop the momentum now when I am on a roll.

Just completed my accounts for self employed work and am in profit despite buying a tumble dryer and a press so I am very pleased with that. From May,except for buying a decent iron, I will be able to use all earnings towards the debt, which is fantastic and will make a massive difference. I am almost in the 17's and will be when I receive laundry money and I have shave 3yrs from my dfd :j. Well worth all the effort. I do however sometimes think how well off I would be if I had all this money in my pocket :(. But hey ho I don't and I am making fabulous progress. I am so determined with this.

I am also determined about my weight loss. I managed to put on 6.5lbs last week . Although I was gutted and really annoyed at myself it has taught me a very valuable lesson about how easily I revert to terrible eating habits and how careful I need to be. I have however lost 5lbs this week so almost back to where I was.

My own birthday party is coming along nicely. Venue is being changed as one we had would be too small. I have a huge family and am lucky to have lots of friends so I need somewhere quite substantial. I also need space for my brother to get the photo booth in as I want that there as well. It is not costing me a penny as everyone paying it for me. My Mum's 2 sisters have paid the disco, my cousins have paid the hall and my brother is paying the buffet. My kids will be decorating the hall for me and my best friend is buying my cake. I have been told I am allowed to do the sweetie cart but only because they want my home made tablet :rotfl:. I feel very special that everyone is doing this for me and I am getting quite excited about it all.

The next couple of months will be sheer madness. My social life is crazy ( which is fab) and work is doubly crazy but it's all good stuff. Also despite social life being crazy nothing should cost very much as all paid either by the people holding the events or else from our social fund that we save in each month. It is all very exciting :D

Don't think I have anything else to tell you guys but I hope you are all good and I will try and catch up on diaries today xx

  • INOD I do feel very loved. I can't quite get my head around it all to be honest.

Still off of work as doc has confirmed sciatica. This diagnosis explains a few things regarding my back but TBH I am just happy that it is not rheumatoid which plagues my family.

I love coming on here as everyone is so nice. I am upbeat just now as meds have totally evened me out. I have decided to just not give a damn about day job. I will do what needs to be done but my energy will be saved for my self employment as I get so much more job satisfaction from that.

I am getting a joiner in to do some essential shelving for me. I want under my stair converted to a mini laundry room. I'll move dryer into there as it's a condenser so it will be fine in there. I am having a large shelf fitted above that. I have a cupboard in my hall which I am having fully shelved, one in upstairs hall, 2 in DS's bedroom, a tap fitted in kitchen and a wall unit put onto wall in kitchen as well. The cost is £220 which I am happy with. We are bursting at the seams in here but I cannot afford to move so I need to make the most of the space I have. I see this as an essential expense and cannot go forward with the business in any organised way until I get this done. I will also need to see the guy when he comes in about fixing a wobbly step in my front garden as I am going to end up having an accident due to it. After that I am doing nothing else until I am debt free ( I hope :rotfl:)

Beautiful sunny day here today so garden will be full of washing and DS will be cutting the grass later. I can't even help due to sore back :j. Nice easy day today before the madness of the weekend begins.

Have a fab day everyone. BTW I had my pic taken in photo booth at DD's party and was told I was stunning!!! Bleeding eck it's been a long time since anyone said that. *GRIN,GRIN*I'm not actually but was nice that someone said that. Such a pity it wasn't a tall dark handsome man :rotfl:

  • Afternoon folks. Wee short cleaning stint done this morning. Already been paid for it though so no overpayments today. I will however be receiving other money and I think it's £505. I need to keep £220 for my shelving and also the money I have spent on things for business this month which is another £210 approx. I'm hoping to pay other £75 off of CC. I wish it was £505 I was paying off but the other stuff has had to happen so I can move forward. Hopefully from now on there will not be much to pay out as I now have all the equipment I need :D

Hoping today will be NSD as not intending leaving house for rest of day. Dinner is sorted as kids having pizza and chips and I am have chilli.

Laundry is on and hopefully be finished both houses today and I can press it tomorrow. I will then do my own housework as no point dusting etc until laundry is done as there is so much fluff about. I then have a cleaning shift on Monday and back to day job on Tuesday. It's all good . So today I will make the most of my couch and sit on it as much as I can before the madness begins.

Have a fab weekend everyone xx
