  • I meant for you to catch a break thru the reduced hours. Not take on more. Be careful that you don't take on too much.

  • I had a look and it's not an option anyway. Only allowed under extreme circumstances i.e. if it facilitates a disability. I don't meet any of the criteria so idea is shelved.

Everyone in work was shattered today as the wind last night kept everyone awake. It was horrific and apparently coming back tonight . Very scary when your walls are moving !!

So I got the refund from the energy company and thats another £71 paid off of overdraft. DFD reduced by another 2 months and saved myself £394.80 :D.

Working tomorrow so will have another £50 to put into the pot. This month is panning out fabulously for these extra payments. I am very happy with this. Other months will not be so busy so I am taking full advantage of any hours I can get. I am on a roll and I desperately want to keep rolling. I want this debt down by at least £5k this year.

I made creamy cajun chicken a la slimming world for dinner. DS marked it as 8/10 so that just shows how tasty it was. We liked it lots so that's another meal we will make again. Just shows that food can be really tasty and healthy.

I have some time tonight to catch up so I will head off and catch up on all the diaries x

  • I know and I thought I had no chance of even getting near it. I have had a bit of luck mind you but I am so bloody motivated I cannot even tell you. I want this debt GONE once and for all. It's just stopping me living the way I want to.I have been on here since 2006 and I have been trying to pay it off since then. I don't want to be still struggling in another 8 years :)

  • Afternoon folks. Another wee cleaning stint under my belt :D. £50 now paid off my overdraft which has knocked off another month from DFD and saved me £269.89 in interest . Awesome!

Spent £13 on fruit and veg in local co-op but should manage all week now. I'll get a meal plan done tomorrow and see if I need anything but hopefully not.

Really excited now as just about to get glammed up and head out for dinner then to the ballet with my DD to see The Nutcracker by the Scottish Royal Ballet. It will be fab and I love getting one on one time with DD she is quite the young adult these days and is great company.

Catch you all later as need to go google how to get to theatre :D
