Sorry to hear your friend's Dad passed away, but glad it was a peaceful ending.

 at CSA, that is totally appalling. What right do they have to hang onto YOUR money? I hope it is sorted very quickly with your complaint gone in.

:T:T brilliant weight loss and goodbye baggy trousers :D

Sounds like nasty boss is having to try sooo hard to be sickly sweet - play your cards close to your chest and keep her on her toes wondering how you feel. Her turn to worry ;)

Hope you got on your bike. I missed yesterday as no time, but did 20 minutes tonight. :)

Part time job, part time self employed could be a good idea for you. Is the cleaning domestic or industrial?

Hope your son gets well soon and pleased to hear work wasn't so bad. Being obsessed about cutting your debt is a good thing.

  • MIT, re compressed hours. As you said, they would have to arrange cover. It ain't your problem. Just apply. You never know and you'd save on travel, wear and tear on work clothes, etc

  • Evening folks. Been to day job and cleaning job so am bloody knackered now :D but it's through good hard work.

Alex it's holiday homes we clean. Decent pay but hard work. I'm not scared of hard work mind you and it's a workout I get paid to do.

Just paid £120 from tesco and actually saved *drum roll* £799.24 and 3 months from my DFD. How amazing is that and how much does this show how greedy the credit card companies are. I'm back under 20k and hopefully never go back over it again :D.

DS is better today although I kept him off of school. He's still very pale so I may keep him off tomorrow and see how he goes. I have a dodgy tummy but I can cope with that. I just hope I don't get sick come the weekend as DD and I are are off to the ballet with the tickets she got me last year for my birthday. I cannot wait as it's the nutcracker and I am really really looking forward to it. We will have a bite to eat before we go as I have £20 in vouchers for the local Italian so will cost very little for us for dinner. I can get tomato based pasta and it'll be fine for my diet.

NSD today so I'm pleased with that. Have taken lunch to work all week and all last week. I have not spent a single penny on food in work. The canteen is awful anyway so I will do my very best to continue with this. My lunch is far better when I bring it from home and obviously very healthy. I am starving just now but have a baked potato in oven and I have some SW chilli for on top. HURRY UP AND COOK I am fading away to a mountain here.

I'm watching benefits- too fat to work. Now I'm nowhere near the size of these poor souls but wowsa it is very motivating to keep going watching this.

So a good wee day today. Mood is definitely lifting which makes me sunny :D

  • Verbatim I reckon you are right, I am on a roll and the better I am getting the better my mood is getting, so it's all good.

Been out working today from 7.30am to 10pm. I am absolutely shattered but that's another £50 into the pot so it's at £100 now for job 3. I'll get £50 from job 2 at the weekend. I only have £65 to pay to tesco but I'll wait until this month's pament comes off and then I'll pay off the balance and see if I can get a 0% balance tranfer :rotfl:

I have transferred £26 from my child benefit account, I won £28 on lottery :D and DD owed me money so I now have £108 set aside to come off of overdraft. I am keeping this money in a separate savings account and at end of month I will reduce my overdraft accordingly. I don't want the money to sit in my normal account as it will get lost. So by taking that off of snowball I have reduced dfd another 2 months and saved myself £617.37 . These figures are mind blowing and very motivating.

I am due a refund from my solar panel company and sent the details they need today so that'll be another £70. I have also asked them for compensation for the period when my meter wasn't recording the electricity generated properly so fingers crossed I will get that. I reckon I can potentially clear tesco and £500 from overdraft this month. I will be delighted with that if I can.

INOD I have decided to apply for compressed hours as it would suit me to only work 4 days with a Monday off if I can get it and pursue the cleaning business on that day of the week. Come the summer there will be massive amounts of work needing done with the business so I am going for it. I'll start off with the one day and if things go well I can make further decisions later on.

Anyway I am now blabbing as I am so tired so bed for me now x
