Evening folks. Well what a busy couple of days I have had. I am whacked !!
Worked for a couple of hours yesterday at cleaning job and it was full on. Was in again today for 4 hours. How the other half live. They are obviously minted. I was booked, also a chef, waitress, barman and piper. No expense spared on anything. Lovely people and they are having a fine old time. I was charging £11 per hour so bill was £66 but they gave me £75. I've popped it into the 'pay off overdraft' account and that has saved me £371.65. Wahey!! Well worth the exhaustion.
After work yesterday I met my friends and we went for a spa. So a swim, steam room and jacuzzi for a couple of hours. It was just the business. We then ordered chinese and had a few drinks up in a nice wee cottage. Good old chat and a wee dance and it was a brilliant hilariously funny night. One of the girls is starting chemo on Wednesday so we were making sure she had a great night before the treatment starts.

Great stuff MiT and those savings figures are just awesome. Really good to see the extra job money going to where you intended it too - that is definitely the way to do it :T

Heading to bed soon Ali as I am shattered. Not in normal job tomorrow as helping with the cleaning business. This'll be an end of month payment though so will not be paid tomorrow, All money in the bank though. Managed to do 20 minutes on the bike Friday night so I am most definitely getting there with that as well. Might even buy myself a bike come summer time5 Year plan. Hi folks. I have burnt calories this weekend that's for sure. done 3 cleaning shifts. Was there today as well. Back to normal work tomorrow.
3 payments now received from CSA so at least they are now moving. That makes my overdraft look a bit better anyway. Hopefully I will reduce that by about £5-600 this month. Smashing, Costing me £28 in charges this month so it needs to 'do one'
DS sat a prelim exam today. Said it went okay but he took unwell again in the lecture theatre. I'm not sure if he is acting it or not so I have made a doctors appointment for him for next week to get him checked out.
Went to Aldi and spent £37. Needed a few bits and had no fruit, cold meat or fresh veg so spent a fair bit on that. Although I am over on the shopping budget if I hadn't bought all that meat then I would be way over. I've got chicken out to make stir fry for dinner tonight and 2lbs mince to put in slow cooker for tomorrow night's dinner. DS will probably moan about the stir fry as I am putting 'stuff' in it otherwise known as onions, mushrooms and peppers :rotfl: but I like 'stuff' so he will just have to pick it out.
Am away to try and do some catching up as I have not had time to do that over the weekend.
Skinny, I can't believe how hard I work either :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hey mittens. Missed you. Your signature is making me green with envy mind.
Nice work with the overpaying minted people, hope you get more like them!Trying to shift that debt!0 -
hi SBO you've been a bit MIA. How's things? Yep a few more minted overpayers would be lovely jubbly. He did overpay though as I am so awesome
4lbs off tonight :j:j. 2lbs to go and that's 2 stones. Am delighted. It's weird though as last week I was angelic and this week not so much as I had vodka and some chocolates. I did huge workouts over the weekend with the cleaning and I'm also up to 20 mins per day on bike. I'm on a roll guys and loving it.
Only spent £5 today on my slimming club. I'm going to do a 12 week countdown in 2 weeks after I get paid so I can take advantage of the 2 free weeks and get the free cookbook.
Just had mince, tatties and corn for dinner and it was sheer nectar. I was starving by time I got in. Going to throw on some chicken noodle soup just now for lunch the next couple of days. DD and DS are both on a health kick so it will get eaten no bother. Also cheap and cheerful so it's all good. Just realised it's my niece's birthday tomorrow. I was thinking it was the 25th for some stupid reason. I've got 20 euros for her card but I'll need a wee thing for her as well. I'll pop into ASDA tomorrow and pick up some sun tan lotion and after sun for her. I'll need to do it before work though as I work with her.
Not doing so great on the NSD so next month I may adjust that to a lower figure. I think when you have kids it's almost impossible to have completely NSD's. Not overly bothered about that part of the challenge as I reckon I am still spending the same amount except for trying to do all spending in one day rather than over the week. I must say though that it really is stopping me spending at work.
Away to do ironing and my bike now xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
