The Irish blood in me needs tatties and plentiful helpings :rotfl:
I have had such a lovely day today but it has been a spendy one. £13 for parking :eek: F F S............I only wanted to park in the car park not bloody buy the space. Very annoying. Bought a gift from Arran aromatics for the friend I was meeting as its her birthday this week so that was £10.75, £15 for lunch and £38 for shopping on way home. I also spent £15 on glass jars and sweets to start off DD's sweet table for her birthday. I have separate money for that though so I took the cash from that.
Went to a Greek restaurant today and the food wasn't 100% to my taste. I ordered lentil soup and chicken souvlaki. The souvlaki was fab but wasn't keen on the soup as it was strange. I tried calamari as well , not too bad but doubt I would have it again as was a bit rubbery for my liking.
I was drooling in the window of John Lewis's today but I managed to stop myself from going in. Went to pics to see the theory of everything at the pics and it was so good. Was about Stephen Hawking and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Chilling out now and tomorrow I will clean my house and then have a telly and cooking fest. So looking forward to it5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

:rotfl::rotfl: Laughed so loud both dogs have woken up and given me a funny look. Astronomical cost
DS wants to see Theory of Everything so we're looking into when to go and have applied for some mystery dining vouchers for N@ndos that I found - free food and cinema will make a good trip out. Parking free at the cinema here though
Enjoy chilling out - you're doing so well across the board :T:TBack on the DFW Wagon:

What were you parking - a coach?????????? £13 is daylight robbery!!!!
I'm still smarting at £7 in a NT park during the summer - I got dh to rejoin after that so we can park for free - which we did today and I even managed a short walk around the gardens - was good to get some fresh air. I'm determined to get the most out of our membership so we tend to try and visit somewhere on average at least every month - lol and each time I chunner about the parking charges to non NT members and then gloat how much we are saving.
My dad was Irish and all my grandparents were - maybe that's why I need my potatoes............January spends - £587.580 -

I agree.......Camlamari has a nice taste but I don't like the 'nobbly bits.' It reminds me what I'm eating  !!0 -
Good afternoon folks.
Still in my PJ's here but haven't stopped since getting up at 9.30 this morning. House is immaculate though so I am very happy about that. DS was away to his Dad's and DD was working so I was all excited about finishing the housework and curling up on my couch to watch a film. Did it happen? Did it h ell!! My pal texted to see if I was in and arrived for 3 hours crying her eyes out as her and her hubby had had a massive fight. So cups of tea and sympathy were required.
My brother has bought most of the stuff for the photo booth so we are heading up there after dinner to have a wee look see.
Making SW haggis for dinner. Fingers crossed it tastes lush as I am starving. So haggis, neeps and tatties for our Burns supper
I have had 2 sleeps of nearly 10 hours each the last 2 nights so need to try and make sure I get to bed earlyish tonight so I don't undo all that good.
NSD today as I haven't crossed the door. Away to get dinner started xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Skinny I am absolutely forcing myself to do these things. House was getting me down. I had a cheek to go and clean for others whilst mine was minging so it had to be done.
Just been up to brother's and played about with photo booth. Fantastic fun. Such a laugh. Only thing is I am a fat git and that's me with 2 stones off. Plenty work to do folks before party in April.

Oh bless you, don't be so hard on yourself! I'm sure you look lovely, but if you really don't think so then you just need to keep doing what you are doing re SW and exercise, and there will be big changes by April.
