  • Thanks Ali and Skinny. Unfortunately a box of chocolate mint creams fell into my mouth somehow last night. Caught me unawares :o. I'll do the SP diet from Sunday though and try and make up for it.

I have just had 2 people approach me about knitting for them. This is nice but I have no idea what to charge. It's just kiddie knots so can't be too expensive. I best get on and finish my own cardigan so I can get started. Quite nice to sit and earn whilst I watch telly.

Going to pay tesco off tonight. I'll just wait until DS comes home and use his phone as he gets 0845 numbers free. I will ask them though if they have any 0% offers.- On hold at present. Don't you just love the wee voice saying 'your call is important to us and we will answer you as soon as possible, we do apologise for the delay'

I called CSA yesterday and apparently another 4 payments have arrived for me and should be on their way soon. That's good as it looks like they are coming in regularly and they now have a process in place to ensure the payments get sent to me as early as possible.

:j:j TESCO has gone ***** happy dance******. I didn't even bother with asking about a balance transfer as I have either 0% or v low % on everything just now so I will just carry on. So hopefully get overdraft paid off in February. I will really try to anyway. Only thing is my hair needs done and I am buying a 12 week countdown for SW as it saves you 2 weeks money and there's a free recipe book this month. So between the 2 of them I will be about £100. I have my brother's birthday and my Aunt's birthday.

I'm starting a strictly fitness class tomorrow night with my friend. I am so looking forward to it. It should be lots of fun and help with the weight loss.

So am away to get on with my cardy and I'll try and finish it over the weekend. Looks really cute. I'll post a pic when it's done xx

Fantastic news on paying card off and the weight loss - :T:T:T

You will get into the dress - its the incentive you need.

I was pretty chuffed with myself today - I finally got to or should I say 1/2lb UNDER target today...... its taken 2 years to lose 2 stone and I could have bought loads of lovely stuff with the cash I've spent getting here - but I've finally done it :j Nearly managed a couple of SP days last week but couldnt stick 100% - have you tried the cauliflower rice - everyone was raving about it at group so I gave it a go - just raw cauli in a food processor till it looks like rice and zap it in he microwave with whatever seasoning you like - no water. It was much better than I expected.

Photo booth sounds fun dd is a lucky girl.

Whats the snow like near you - we had a few inches in a short time - it was horrendous even the main roads were skating rinks. there'd been little or no gritting and the whole town came to a standstill - don't know what would happen if we had really thick snow. My round trip to SW (including dashing in to get weighed and dashing out) took 3 hours - its only 3 miles up the road........

    Well done again

  • Milann WAHEY!! target weight member at last. Fantastic :j

We still have a few inches of snow but we are very good at getting roads etc cleared up here. Was worried on Wednesday night though as it was a blizzard and DD was at work 10 miles away and driving home. I made her take the main routes home instead of her usual country road. My niece wouldn't drive in it yesterday and I took her into work with me. Thankfully no lunatic drivers and everyone was being very careful. Possibly the brand new car wrapped round a tree on the central reservation ensured we were all good boys and girls

Payday today :). Should call it payawayday instead :rotfl:.

Just got my cleaning shifts through for February as well and there's potential to earn about another £300 from one of the jobs as my friend is away on holiday and I have taken that week off to do the work she would normally do. I'll still have a couple of free days though so it's all good. If this keeps up I'll be super fit and also make a huge hole in my debt. Not sure how many shifts I will have in other cleaning job but will probably be most Saturdays so about another £100. Hopefully I manage to pay it all off of my overdraft. If I do as well as this month I could clear it but that's a big ask. I will have a darned good try at it though and then BOS cc will start to get a hammering. I am looking forward to that. I definitely get more pleasure from paying off the CC's.

I started strictly fitness tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. £4 for 45 mins. I was mucho sweaty when I was done but in a good way.

Anyway been writing this on and off for 3 hrs :rotfl: so I'm offski xx

  • You are so right Verbatim it's fab.

Expensive day today . £54 to get hair done but cut and coloured and looking nice so am happy enough with that. I bought lots of wool as there was a sale in the wool shop :o. Got the wool to do the orders I have and also wool to knit myself a chanel type boxy cardigan. Even at £2 per ball I was £26 but it will be stunning. Has a bit of glitter through it as well. I can't wait to start it. Also the other wool is an investment as I am knitting for people so will get the money back for that.

Going to chill today. Place is tidy and I will be chasing washing around the radiators but other than that I am going to watch films and knit until my heart's content :D. Have a lovely day everyone xx
