DS is much better thanks guys. Kept him off of school today but he is insisting on going back tomorrow so we will see how he is in the morning. Is it bad that I was happy he was off today as it saved me £8
Work was fine today. I couldn't be bothered but managed to get through. My niece has worked with me for last 6 years but today was her last day. She is moving on to pastures new. I am really quite sad about it tbh but I am really pleased she has moved on to something else and I really hope it will be good for her but I will miss her as we have become close over the last few years. She's a lovely girl. Today the folks on the floor were laughing at me as I was more upset than anyone and obviously I will see her regularly but every morning I go in she smiles at me and cheerily says morning aunty, I said who is going to do that for me now?? So they have all been calling me aunty all day. Cheeky beggars :rotfl:
NSD for me today but through necessity rather than anything else. It's been an expensive month. Had to pay £55 for DS's leaver dance and £57 for my boiler service so that my warranty is kept up to date. £115 for hall and deposit for DD's party and the list goes on and on. Very very tight month but I am still managing to overpay so I am happy enough with that.
So am going to have a quick catch up and then do some knitting xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

:j:j 2.5lbs off at fat club. That's me now at 2st 8lbs and got slimmer of the week again
. So excited that this is continuing
I attended my final parents night tonight. I feel old but I also feel quite proud as my 2 are now through school and never a bad report for either of them. I have done this by myself and I am happy
Bought some slimming world bars tonight as they are delish and a treat for me at night time. There are frozen meals being launched tomorrow and I have 4 vouchers for money off so I will get them soon. The only one I'm really looking forward to is the free sausages. I don't like the veggie ones much.
Still taking my lunch to work every day so minimum spends there. I did spend £2 today though on a baked potato as I knew I would get no dinner until really late.
10 days until payday and I am struggling. I'll do my best though :eek:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. Wee cleaning shift after work tonight so I am shattered now. Never mind it's another £50 into the coffers and a step nearer my new kitchen
Put a £5 to a collection in work today as the guy leaving has worked there for a long time and I'm quite fond of him. Still being frugal otherwise though as there's still a week to go until payday
I should hopefully manage to get through the next week but it will be very tight.
I'm hoping when I get paid and also paid for the cleaning work that I can clear my overdraft completely. It means March will be tight but at least I will save myself £28 in charges every month.
Had a great wee catch up whilst cleaning with my pal and she gave a lovely gift. It's local slate with wee sayings scribed on it for my kitchen. I love it.
Away to knit now and I am having a quandary about what to charge for my knitting but I will mull it over and see. Needs to be worth my while as it takes up loads of time. Hope you are all well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Well done on the weight loss.
I'm impressed at the speed you knit - I started again when my granddaughter was born last year but still prefer to crochet for her - but a lot of crochet patterns are very old fashioned - so I tend to alternate. It still takes me a couple of weeks to make - but I suppose if I turned the puter off I'd go a bit faster......January spends - £587.580 -
Hi Milann, I get obsessed when knitting and want to see it finished ASAP but I end up with numb thumbs and the needles get put away for another wee while. I love doing it as well. I can crochet squares but not garments. I find knitting very relaxing
Got a £25 bonus from cleaning job today so transferred that and tomorrow's £30 to pay off overdraft. £55 paid in and £127.48 saved in interest according to snowball
