  • Ali that is so nice to say I am awesome. That made me have a big cheesy grin............thank you xx

I must admit that the cleaning is getting easier the more weight I am losing. Lost another 2lbs tonight so I'm now at 2st 10lbs :DThe dress I want to wear to DD's 21st actually fastens :D. I can't breathe in it but at least the zip goes up. I bought this dress at least 5 years ago on e-bay and it has never fitted so I must be at my lightest for a good few years :j so happy.

DS appears to be slowly changing his mind about going to study in Edinburgh. Looks like he will be going to Glasgow. I am really glad about that as I would really worry about him being away from home for so long. His mates are all going to Glasgow so I reckon that along with a new wee job with my brother has swayed him. I'm not averse to him going away but tbh there is just no need. We are 40 mins from all the uni's in Glasgow and he can stay at home cheaply if he does that.

Looking forward to Friday as it is payday. I am super skint but I've just about made it through the month and the financial damage is not terminal. Hopefully when I get paid I can clear my overdraft. I mean the cleaning job and not actual job. I also need to get a couple of t-shirts and some knockers this weekend as mine are all too big ;). I don't want to spend too much but I can spare a wee £20 to tidy myself up.

So no other news from me. Been a busy weekend and this week is going to be quite busy too BUT I will hopefully have Saturday completely free and most of Sunday as well. Superb !! I hope you are all in fine fettle xx

I'm pleased ds is staying local for uni - that is where a lot f my debt came from - helping the kids out when they were at uni.

Thanks Skintspice - I'll try pininterest again - I tried it a while ago but being the technophobe I am - I didn't get very far....

Interesting shopping list you have there MIT - good luck buying smaller KNOCKERS - now I could do with a size bigger in that department :p:p:p:D

New knockers! :rotfl::rotfl: Hope the knicker shopping goes well ;)

Just wonderful to read each post of yours MiT - incredibly inspiring, highly motivated and achieving every step of the way :T:T

Great news if DS stays home and goes local for Uni, that'll be a big saving on costs.

How long to DD's party now? Be fab for your dress to be a comfortable fit for it and I bet it will :D

  • Loads of lovely visitors. Must admit not been on bike for a week or so as have been so busy and have had a chest infection so just don't have the breath. I'll get back into it though.

DS hasn't made a final decision yet about uni but I am quietly confident he will stay here. Was speaking to him about it tonight as I need to do something about storage is he is intent on staying here. I will just need to bite the bullet and pay out the money to get fitted wardrobes put into both kids rooms. DS has built in cupboards already but he desperately needs another power point and also his cupboards shelved and some drawers built in. I know a handyman who can do things like that and my pal is his Landlord so will get me a good price as well. I know I said I wasn't spending anything on the house this year but this is essential as we are bursting at the seams and we aren't able to move.

If I sort out the bedrooms once and for all then downstairs will look better too and I can then concentrate on getting everywhere organised for when kitchen gets done. I am so hoping that I manage to get my kitchen next year as I am determined to do my best.

I have a home loan that I got years ago when I split my bedrooms and I got the yearly account in yesterday. I've never really looked at it before but it seems I am paying £46 per month interest on my loan. That'll be my target after debt is paid. I hate paying interest these days.

Only got half a sleeve of my new cardigan to finish. Dying to see it done xx

  • Happy payday folks. Well I'm happy anyway as I have paid off my overdraft :j:j. Asda card is next on my agenda. I had £245 left to pay off and was getting £230 minimum for cleaning so I just added £15 and paid it off :D. I have cut 3 months off my dfd and also saved myself £766.09 in interest . So pleased.

My asda card is at £1,900+ so I will get to work on that and hopefully clear it by the end of June. That's my plan anyway. I have 5 cards left to pay but I did have 8 so I am getting there.

Been to dancing tonight and was there last night as well so I am feeling good. Hopefully get a nice weight loss again this week.

Need to go shopping tomorrow but will not be going mad. My DD and my pal are coming with me so that should be fun. Really looking forward to it. As you will know I very rarely shop so this will be a huge treat. I am however setting myself a £50 limit.

I hope everyone is doing okay and you are all well xx
