You certainly live in a beautiful part of the world MIT. Not been over the border for a long time but when mine were littlies we spent time in a caravan near Dundee and travelled around a fair bit finishing with a weekend at a hotel right by the side of Erskine Bridge - it was paid for by the charity we were attending - my kids had never stayed in a hotel before and we had a marvellous time..........memories to treasure.

I drove to sw this morning, only a shor distance away - 1st time driving since surgery - I never realised how many tummy muscles were used changing gear - I can feel very one aching now!!!!! but it will get easier each time :) I lost 2 1/2 ONLY 1/2 to go - I've been here so many times but cant shift that last 1/2 - life gets in the way every time - but it won't this time.

I bet you'll feel wonderful at dds party - you are doing great`

  • Milann that certainly sounds like lovely memories.Get on the SP diet for a week and that 1/2 will go no bother. Go!Go!Go! I am well jel that you are so close.

SBO I do love living here.

Veronica I have never climbed up the big man but it is on my bucket list. He is a bad boy hurting your ankle.

Another wee cleaning stint under my belt tonight :D. Doing a couple hours tomorrow night and then my weekend is mine all mine :D:D

Meeting a lovely friend on Saturday for lunch and Sunday I am hoping to quickly clean my own house then sit and watch the telly or something equally as lazy. I am so hungry just now that I have opened a packet of meat and am eating it whilst I wait on my baked potato. I have taken lunch to work every day this month and not spent 1 penny in canteen so I am very pleased with that. It just takes a wee bit of organising and my food tastes 100% better than anything the canteen would make ;)

Anyway am going to have a quick nosey round the boards then get dinner, a shower and bed xx

  • It could be Spells and Potions?
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • SP is the new fast-track Slimming World plan. It's all about Speed food and Protein and is low carb. It's supposed to be used as a boost and not a plan to stick to all the time.

Like the idea of spells and potions more though :D Xx

  • Evening folks. Yes SP is a boost and could help with Milann's stubborn last half pound.

Cleaning again tonight and now 2 whole days of me time :j:j. So excited. £30 paid from overdraft with tonight's earnings and saved me £143.51 overall :D. Love it. Am really looking forward to 2 days of relaxing as I am really knackered and next week is to be a busy one again. 2 nights of cleaning but hey it's all good. I am delighted with the amounts I am getting paid off and I reckon all the cleaning stints are helping with my weight loss as well. So good though as folks starting to notice it now and it really cheers you up when someone says to you :D. I was told today I looked fantastic !! exaggeration but so nice to hear. I also wore a blouse today that I bought months ago and couldn't get in to so I was delighted about that as well. Going to try on some clothes over the weekend to see if anything else fits me.

Looking forward to going in to Glasgow tomorrow to meet my friend. We're having Greek food. It's her birthday during the week so I will treat her to lunch. It's only £6.95 each so shouldn't break the bank. I'm looking forward to a wee catch up. So tomorrow will consist of a long lie, bit of pampering and lovely lunch with good company. Will be cheaper and less stressful to buy her lunch than try and get a gift.

So am away to put my feet up and eat a rocky road and pkt of quavers. Heaven indeed xx

Its taken me years to lose 2 stones but I feel better for it and am wearing the smallest trousers I have EVER worn :)

  • My OH dips in and out of Atkins but he's not irish. I think the irish need potatoes to function.

  • Ha ha I couldn't live without my carbs either. I've hit a plateau ATM. Really frustrating as I'm only a third of the way to go. I'm still persevering though.

Good luck guys on our healthy eatings plans x
