Hello everybody. Been out today getting in some dance practise for a party tonight. My nephew is 21 and a few of us are dressing up and doing daft dances to mortify him :rotfl:. We are of course beautiful in our tutus and wigs. Mine is a fetching shade of blue.
I got my exercise bike and it has taken me over an hour to build it . It is excellent though and I am very happy with it. I am mega unfit but I'll build up the time I spend on it gradually. Going to try and do 10 minutes before I get my dinner and get ready to go out.
I'm taking the car with me tonight as I am skint and have a lunch arranged tomorrow with my friends so rather that pay for multiple taxis I will abstain. Back on diet anyway so don't want to ruin it by boozing.
I had a wee look in Asdaprice today to see if any bargains with the turkeys or meat but pretty rubbish tbh. Turkeys are slightly reduced but not by much. We're not overly fussed on turkey anyway so it would need to be a really good buy for me to get it. I'll head in again on the 31st as late as I can and see if there's anything then.
So I best go and make my dinner. DS has been sick but I reckon her has just been too greedy. Hopefully he will soon be fine so we can go to the party. I have a 1litre of vodka I haven't opened so that'll be his gift. Have a great day folks xx

We had a great wee night and I feel brand new today as didn't drink. Only spent £5
. I had a full litre of vodka that I hadn't opened so I gave him that as a gift as well so a nice cheap night.
Managed to do 10 minutes on my bike this morning but I am sweating even doing that. Hopefully I can build it up to 30 minutes at a time a couple of times a day.I am so unfit but at least the seat is quite comfortable and not slicing me in 2. Have told DS that if I start to enjoy it then I'll get a bike for summer and we can go cycling together. My fitness would need to be massively improved though.
Heading out for the afternoon for food and a chat with my friends. We have our secret santa still to do and we will have some nice lunch. I've just checked the menu and I should be able to have a nice dinner and still more or less stick to the plan. It's an Italian restaurant though and the food is fab. It'll be difficult to choose healthily but I will have soup then either arrabiatta or spag bol. We have a fund as well so no money will actually be spent.
Back to work tomorrow. The thought is not filling me with joy but I am going to just concentrate on getting the job done and looking after myself. That's my resolutions for 2015.
- Get to a healthy weight.
- Walk the west highland way ( in stages)
- Pay off as much debt as possible
- Exercise daily
- Don't let work stress me out.

Great plan and goals for 2015 :T and well done on the 10 mins on the bike. It'll get easier and then maybe increase to 15 per day for a week. Take it slowly so you keep motivated and that fitness will improve.
Have a lovely lunch, sounds fab.Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
Going to do another 10 minutes tonight.
Had a lovely lunch and was as healthy as I could make it. I had tomato and basil soup then chicken arrabiatta. It was absolutley delicious but the arrabiatta nearly ripped the interior of my mouth off it was so hot. Very nice though. No pudding and no choccy afterwards. I got a lovely friendship globe from the secret santa and a box of thorntons chocs. Now I know for a fact that I would not resist those so I gave them to my pal when we were on the way home. That'll make sure thay don't go down my throat :rotfl:.
Ironing done and 3 loads of wash done. Just about to tidy round and hoover downstairs and I will be ready for work tomorrow. Dress down all week so jeans and t-shirts will be the order of the day. Funny how everyone loves a dress down day.
Went into local co-op and got 3 pizzas for £6 and 2 pkts richmon d sausages for 49p each. DS loves them. Got £20 out of the fund for my lunch and it only cost £14 so I ended up spending nothing as I got a £1 discount in co-op as my friend works there. So I have had my dinner and enough food for another 9 meals for nowt. Result I say.
Ali I need a plan. I might not manage all of it but at least if I manage some of it then I will be happy enough with that. My main ones as usual are my weight and debt. I will be 50 in 2015 and I want to be 50 and fabulous and not 50 and fat and skint.
I am looking forward to 2015 as I reckon it will be a special year for us. I just want to get started on all my plans ASAP.5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
