Hi EE here I am :rotfl:. Crazy week tbh but I have today free. That's a laugh tbh as I have my house to clean and then DS to take to Glasgow as he has a photography project to do and I promised him I would take him up tonight to get some pics when it is dark . I am only doing it though if he helps me today as I am done with running about after the 2 of them without any return.
I had 10 hours sleep last night which was amazing. Does mean half the day is away but my energy tank has been repleted. Spent all week in work interviewing which may sound easy but I was exhausted. It was interesting and we did have some laughs but so sad to see how nervous people get . I wish I could just give people feedback there and then as you feel so bad that they will not get through the interview and you can't give them any more than about 3 lines of advice. And 'you are a pain in the b utt' does not get included. These posts are practically entry level and the standard is phenomenal. So sad. But we can only do our best and be fair and frank in our returns.
So I have done a menu plan for next week as I am skint. Some weird concoctions on the menu but means I need to buy the absolute minimum today when I shop. ASDA have meatballs on for 50p per tin and I have a donation from a colleague for the food bank of £10 so I am going to buy 15 tins of meatballs for the foodbank with 16 tins of smartprice potatoes. This is typical of what they put in each basic bag and these are the things thatthey sometimes have to buy themselves as they run out. So this will be a great wee help for them.
I might have about £20 spend today for food but I'll be happy with that. I have petrol in my car and enough food to see us through until I get paid on Friday. My child benefit and the money I have in my purse will sort out DS's school costs and I will just have to stay in and do nothing all week as I have no pennies. Tbh I will be happy to have a quiet week.
So happy weekend folks. Hopefully I'll get some time later to catch up as I am working on job number 3 tomorrow xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
So much for my £20 spend in ASDA. £65  but I spent £10 on tinned potatoes and also meatballs with donated money for foodbank and also £12 on a new iron as DS dropped mine and smashed it . Also bought a huge piece of silverside which will do at least 3 Sunday dinners so am not too bothered.
End of month accounts done today. £28 bonus from tescowhich was a nice surprise so that has come off of my balance. I had to phone ASDA as well as I was blocked out f their online banking and have £800 I can use for 0% so am not too sure what to do with that. ASDA will be my next target for paying off so I may just go for it and then hopefully get a £2k 0% at the end of it. I'll see. So this month I have paid £82.36 in interest which is still devastating but better than it was before and going down every month.£7.97 less than last month :rotfl: I'm trying to get rid of the cards that have interest on them and just get down to all my cards being 0% and then I can hopefully just keep transferring them whenever they get to end of transfer period.
It is such a miserable day here today and I'm dreading going out later. DS had to go into ASDA to get photos printed and I offered him a lift earlier as it was so wet and he wouldn't get out of his bed so I have made him go for the train to teach him a lesson and I feel really guilty now. I am not giving in though as he needs to learn that everyone will not just drop everything to suit him.
So I am working at 4.15. Will be there for about 5hrs including travel but tbh I just can't be bothered. I will however grit my teeth and get on with it. This'll be my 3rd shift this month in this job so I am now at £150 owed. I am also working Friday so I hope to get the £200 and that'll start me off for next month. I have overpaid by about £400 this month so I am absolutely delighted with that.
I'm off to tidy up and get some lunch before I need to leave xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Evening folks. I am drained :rotfl:. Been interviewing for over 1 week as we are recruiting 44 staff and I despair that we will manage to get them. Really quite frightening the calibre of some of the candidates we have had. I was actually lying across the desk today with one of mine who very obviously had severe issues and actually freaked me out somewhat. However, all done now and fingers crossed we have managed to do okay with the folks we have found.
Went up to the big house we clean on Sunday afternoon and it was trashed. It was heartbreaking. This is a £2 million house and the folks who had been in it had totally disrespected it. They were called by the woman who organised the cleaners as I had phoned and let her know what we had been met with when we arrived. They did return and were suitable horrified at how disgusted I was. They said that they had been told that the house would be cleaned all over so they just left everything. I told them that yes the house gets cleaned and made rady for the next guests but we as cleaners were not there to do their bloody dishes for them. We were cleaners not skivvies. They did some clearing up and I then sent them away. However the amount of broken dishes was shocking. The jaccuzi had beer bottle tops and sandwiches in it. The cinema room floor was completely covered with crisps and popcorn. The woman said to me 'but I thought it all got cleaned' and I just drew her a look and said 'do you seriously mean you think it is okay to leave a mess like this in someone's home? Well I'm afraid then that there is something severley lacking in your ubringing' :rotfl:. Oops. But I couldn't help myself. Bloody disgraceful. So I ended up not getting home until after 9pm. My boss is asking for the deposit to be withheld and we will all receive a bonus. It beggars belief. The furniture was all moved as well. The guy said we moved it to accomodate people, I said well you should have bloody moved it back then. I do think I mortified them as I made it very plain how disgusted I was. The floors in this house cost thousands of pounds and they were covered, and I mean covered in drink and birthday cake. This was 30 yr olds not a hen party or anything. Anyway I will stop ranting but if any of you go to self catering accomodation then just remember the poor cleaning staff who need to come in sfterwards.
Payday this week but I am not going to make any big plan except ttry and get some more Christmas pressies and still use my cleaning money for overpayments. I am however £400 overdrawn . I need to get that under control ASAP but realistically it'll be after Christmas now.
So tonight will be catch up night and maybe tomorrow I will get some energy and catch up in house. Hope you are all good xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

That's disgusting MIT, you were totally right to tell them what you thought about the mess, I've stayed in SC apartments/cottages lots of times and I always make sure it is clean and tidy before I leave, I will even hoover if there is one in the property. Some people are just dirty disrespectful scroats.0

Hi folks. It really was disgusting. The couple were telling me they were professionals and that their friends were professionals. This was when I said that I thought someone had peed in 2 fireplaces :rotfl:. I just gave them 'the look' when they said that. Will be interesting to see what happens re bonus. Whatever it is it'll go straight to CC anyway
I got told in work today that I wasn't meeting the benchmarks as set. This means that the end of year bonus will not be paid to me and also that if there is a pay rise then I will not get it. I am gutted. I am missing the mark by 1 case per day. I was dealing with additional duties, staff and illness where I was crawling in some days due to the pain I was in and I think my manager is being very harsh. So tomorrow I am asking for a meeting and I am going to tell her exactly that. There are people in my work who have stinking attitudes, bully people, no customer service etc etc and I bet they haven't been marked down but I am going to deal with this tomorrow and I will take it much further if I don't get a decent response. I have 2 other jobs and both bosses think the sun shines out of me so I am at a loss as to what I am doing wrong. I used to get Top markings. I still work in exactly the same way and I just don't get it. These days it's all about the numbers and it's so wrong. I am sick about it all and definitely going to do my best to get out ASAP. I am also involved in a talent management group but I am going to tell them I am withdrawing as why should I sign up fpr extra stuff when they obviously think I am sh*t

I agree 100%. It's crap when it's all about the numbers rather than the hard work and extra miles done. Good luck with taking it further XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Don't take that lying down, I can tell from your diary just how committed you are. They should not just take numbers at face value, the rest of the stuff is as important. Chin up xPay off Car Loan £17,047 £10580 by Christmas 2022
