  • Good luck to you guys as well. My quest for weight loss will not be helped much by buying a box of twix's from approved food for 49p

I ate the wotsits just because I could. No other reason. This is my issue. If the food is there I will eat it. If it's not there then I will cook something. I'm just a greedy b*gger and I have no idea how to stop it. I get so annoyed at myself. I'm not a stupid person so I am at a loss as to why I have no control.:mad:

Anyway on to a happier note. I have had some friends help me with food bank donations and here's a pic of what I'm handing in this month. I am so pleased.

    Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
    By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.

  • I used to be like that, I would take food in for lunch at work and then walk to the shop and buy a 4 pack of chocolate bars and just keep eating until I had finished them all. It was like once I started eating I couldn't stop and it didn't matter how sick I felt I still carried on eating.

This is very similar - http://eating-disorders.org.uk/information/compulsive-overeating-binge-eating-disorder/

Luckily (?) I didn't do this every day so I didn't put on too much weight.

The only thing that has stopped me is going gluten free - now there is not much gluten free junk food that I can have so I don't buy it and too be honest the food I do eat now fills me up for longer and I hardly snack now.

Well done on the food bank collection - people out there are going to really appreciate it. I order food parcels for people in my job (we don't have a collection centre, instead the local food bank deliver) and although some people are in that situation due to stupidity the ones that aren't have had such a hard time it is heart breaking.
  • Fab haul for the food bank, well done :T.

I had my first weigh in for the Christmas challenge and I've lost a pound. Xx

    Hi MIT and friends

I think your challenge is an excellent idea - I need to lose a stone - I usually work in kgs so remind me again is a stone 13 lbs? wow that sounds lot. Its 6 kgs I need to lose.

I also have a cupboard full of clothes that dont really fit and I cant bear to part with.
  • A stone is 14lbs LAM. Good luck with your challenge Xx

EEK - even higher lol - thanks for that - I have a switch on my scale I can change to pounds so will do that.
  • LAM I have switched to pounds as well as it has really shocked me that I am heavier than some of the biggest loser contestants . I have made no inroads to this at all this week as it has been crazy. DD's young Irish friend has been here so lots of food. I have been out nearly every night yet again and it's all food food food. I have a crazy weekend in front of me as well so I am gearing up for Monday. I have already bought in my lunches and am raring to go. Good on you PLMBL for losing a 1lb already :D

Spent over £60 in ASDA yesterday but had a £10 off voucher so that was great. Also ordered another £30 of stuff from approved food. I now have enough fabric conditioner and fairy liquid to do me for about a year :o

  • Hi folks. Been AWOL as when not working I've been in bed. One of those streaming horrible colds that just exhaust you. I have however lost lb :). Going back to slimming club on Tuesday night as I need focus. A pound is better than nothing though so I am happy enough with that.

Paid another £70 cleaning money off of tesco card so it is looking good for paying off by Christmas.

The woman I clean for has offered me the use of her 2 cottages. I normally take 1 for a wee freebie night away but she has said I could use both and then I can combine family and friends all at once. So my plan is to have between 16-18 people up for a murder mystery night with a Christmas theme. My brother and I will cook and I am so excited about it. Just waiting on owner confirming it and I can start planning. I'll keep it as cheap as possible and we will have a blast.

Another wee cleaning shift today with my other friend and I have 2 others with her this month so that'll be another £200 for CC. So it's all good.

Just going to chill until it's time to go to work at 4 and conserve my energy. Will be a thrown together dinner when we get home later but tbh I'm not feeling hungry anyway.

I hope you are all well and your weather isn't as nasty as ours xx

  • Evening folks.

What a busy day today. Been interviewing for new staff and this was my first time being on the board. Don't know who was the most nervous today, me or the candidates. I actually calmed down after the first question was asked tbh as I realised how important my role was in calming the poor candidates down and also ensuring they did as well as possible in their interviews.

So not a hugely spendy day today but still silly spends on lunch etc when I had plenty that I could have taken with me rather than buying something.

My tesco card is now under £700 so I am thrilled with that. Only £27 more to pay this month to hit my target of £560 paid off. I will earn £30 cleaning money this week so that'll cover that. I will also get £200 at end of month for other cleaning job but I will pay that towards next months.

I need to get organised again as I have spent on silly things this month like take aways and lunches so I need to stop it ASAP again :o. I've just been so busy it's been very difficult. So I have taken out chicken drumsticks for tomorrow night and we will have them with baked potatoes and I will take food in for my lunch. I promise :D
