Had a lovely wee evening with DD at the pics seeing Gone Girl. Soon as we started watching it I realised I had read the book. Film was well done and enjoyable. DD treated me. Great having grown up kids who have some cash
I treated her and DS to mcD's on way home. I don't like it so it cost me £6 as with her student card we got it really cheap. I was also £6 for a tub for her in ASDA for her uni stuff. I bought leather boots for me in ASDA as well and they were £26 which is not too bad. I also gor DS a school jumper as it's now getting cold here.
My shopping came to £50.95 but I had £8.75 in vouchers and I have redeemed £5.75 from shopitize as well. I have £8 in checkoutsmart but will wait until I have £20 in there before I check it out as 5% charge otherwise. So in reality my shopping came down to £36.45 so I am happy with that. I got a nice handwash and shower gel amongst that that I will be able to use as stocking fillers.
Spendy day altogether but hopefully have more or less all we need for the month except for some fresh stuff5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi folks. Busy weekend for me but all good things
.
Took DS to Edinburgh yesterday for open day at Napier uni. Was an excellent day and all very exciting. DS saw all the departments he is interested in and also met lots of the lecturers. We saw the accommodation and it was all very exciting. He would however need a guarantor and £500 deposit. I have told him he needs to save that up himself and also a couple of hundred to keep him going for a couple of weeks until his loan etc comes through. We had some lunch and picked up some snacks so I spent about £15.
I then came home and met up with friends for a bite to eat and a few drinks. I took the car so I stuck to soft drinks and tea. Rock and Roll!! Spent £20 there as well so a bit of a spendy day.
Spent £1.30 today on chocolatebut nothing else and I have no plans to spend anything.
Just realised I have missed the new season of The Biggest Loser . It's one of my fave programmes . I've found it on catch up so that's my night sorted.
Horrible day here today. Rainy and cold. Winter is definitely on it's way. I gutted out my back hall. It's the hall that leads to my back door but is also my 'glory hole' and it was a shocker. I have now cleared it out. 6 boxes to charity shop and 2 large bin bags into bin. Looks great now and we can see what shoes, coats and bags we now have. I also gutted living room and hall. I am now shattered. Still have dinner to cook though and kitchen is a riot. Ho hum. I am not going to let it annoy me though as I at least have a home and food to cook so I will keep my mouth zipped
So I will chill out for a wee hour then start again xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
