Sent you a PM Dawnybabes. Fabulous house and pics honestly don't do it justice.
Busy day today in work. I feel awful as well. I am pretty sure I have caught a sickness bug as my stomach is extremely uncomfortable and I have felt really yuk all day. No doubt about 3am it'll all come to a head
Spoke to a few folks today regarding partial retirement and apparently each year before my retirement date that I take my retirement will reduce my pension by 5% so if I do this next year then I will lose 50% of my pension :eek:Not an option now I'm afraid as I just cannot afford to do that. I was thinking though that I could go part time and still take advantage of the self employment opportunity. Still a lot to think about but not yet dead in the water.
Spent £2.20 on lunch as I didn't fancy my soup and £6 in shop on way home. I am making tablet for works McMillan tea party tomorrow so had a couple of things to buy. Need to wait on dishwasher finishing so I can get the utensils form it that I need. Machine was on before I noticed they were in it or I would have just washed them.
No other major news today and I am away to make the tablet then head to bed xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

No 3am dramas thankfully and went to work this morning. Came home at lunchtime however and spent afternoon sleeping. Feel a good bit better now.
I forgot when I was reconciling my credit cards that my DD had used one of them a lot recently whilst waiting on her uni loan coming through. This has meant today I received £100 for cleaning and £300 from DD and have paid it all off of the tesco card. I am under 20k again and this makes me very happy
Under 20k seems such a milestone. I panic when it goes over that tbh and I lose it a wee bit. Hopefully now I am under it again I can get fully back on track. I have over[aid £160 from cleaning this weekend alone. I have a possible £290 to be earned this month coming as well so I might just get rid of tesco before Christmas if I keep this up5 Year plan. Skinny you could always make it. It'll make you very popular amongst your friends
Another wee day off today as still feeling pretty yuk. Slept like a log all night and then fell asleep on couch this morning. Still tired
I have however managed to do a couple of moneysaving things. I have called and cancelled my old phone contract. Only £7.70 per month but it all counts. I have also requested a single persons reduction for council tax as DD is a student now. Form is coming out. That should save me another £25 per month. I did however join Greenpeace as I am so against fracking and want them to lobby parliament strongly so that no company will have the right to frack under my home. The central belt in Scotland is up for grabs for this barbaric practice and Westminster are trying to put through a law that takes away homeowner rights to object as to what happens underneath your property. Absolutely ridiculous. The land belongs to the people not the government!! I am red hot raging about this. So I have promised £10 per month to them and hopefully we can stop this. Who knew I was so politically minded :rotfl:. My friends are trying to encourage me to get involved locally but I'm not too sure. I'll ponder it.
I'm sincerely hoping I get some energy today as my house is filthy. DD is at uni and then working tonight so no help available from her and DS at school and is lazy so and so , so I doubt any help from there either. Not going to stress about it though as my legs are like rubber just now so I am just lying down to whatever it is affecting me.
I have £180 left from my wages and hopefully will get £380 from CSA so I should be okay this month. I have 1 birthday which is my SIL and I will get her a voucher of some sort. I want to get a good start on Christmas gifts though so I will get some of that as well. I'll spend about £100 on Christmas anyway. Going to get DS an i-pod docking station for his birthday in December as well as he will appreciate having that when he goes to uni and is living in halls.

Just bought an afternoon tea deal in a 5* hotel for my SIL for £22. I'm well chuffed with that as she will love it. Also spent £42 on approved food but it has taken me ages and I double checked all prices to make sure they were bargains. Stocked up on loo rolls, fabric conditioner, conditioner, soap and green tea. I got a few tins of meat that were pretty cheap for the foodbank as well.
Need to go through my freezers and check what I have and what I am needing. I have vouchers for pizzas so will get 2 decent pizzas for 48 pence. I have a few cashback offers for bread and such on shopitize as well. I'll make sure DD has it on her phone as well and get 2 lots of the best buys for best savings. The savings are definitely out there, it just takes time to find them.

plmbl I am reading through pages and pages of your diary catching up xx
I need to go back to work. Just ordered a holder for my i-phone for my car and an alarm clock/docking station/speaker type thing for DS for his birthday. Both are pretty essential as I use my phone as a sat nav and have nothing to sit it on and DS needs clock/speakers so not all bad.5 Year plan. Well I just counted my 50p's and change that I save and I have £61.50 so I m feeling slightly less guilty about spends. I also bought a watch for DD's 21st box but it was only £2.25. Very cute and she is watch crazy.:D I think I now have 5 gifts in total. I also bought a huge bottle of vera wang princess perfume which is reduced on Amazon to £21 which is a great buy. I have spent approx £67 today for gifts but I have started on DS's birthday, more things for DD's 21st and a couple things for Christmas so it's all good.
I am going to use £50 towards my debt from change collection and keep £11.50 towards a pair of boots for me. I spent £60 on boots last year and they were wrecked by end of winter so this year I am buying cheap and if I need to buy 2 pairs then I will still be cheaper than the £60 of last year.
So another £50 off of tesco cardBy paying that I actually reduce the total by £74.91 which is almost 1.5 times the £50 paid. Very encouraging

Hope I didn't bore you silly with the pages of catching up!
Well done on counteracting the spends with debt busting too. And anyway, it's not like the spends were frivolous, birthday gifts are essential spending!!
