  • I saw someone talking about her on your page today so I liked her this afternoon and bought a watch she had advertised for DD. It was only £2.14 . My new favourite page. I follow all the coupon ones I can find and this week got a £1 and £1.50 Dr Oetker pizza voucher so will get 2 pizzas for 49p :D. Kids will be delighted that they're not smartprice :o

And no I wasn't bored at all just felt sorry for you guys but hey sympathy is not what you need, it's support you need so keep on keeping on xxx

  • Another day off for me. Still feeling nauseous although fuzzy head does feel better. I am exhausted though despite all the sleep I am getting.I am really starting to think my thyroid is playing up again and that's why I feel so rough. I had this years ago and was put on medication for a few months. Doc took me off the meds as it settled down but I have been told since that once you are on thyroid meds then you are usually on them for life. I was warned that at some point I would get bother again. I have felt under par for months now but have been putting it down to having kidney stones. Those are apparently away though so back to the drawing board. I am falling asleep at my desk in work and I have no control over my body temp. I am uncomfortably cold in less than about 25 degrees. Obviously this is way too hot for everyone else so I end up with my dressing gown on ( with the hood up lol) and a blanket over me. I'm not diabetic so I reckon it must be thyroid. I have listed 23 symptoms for doctor tomorrow which I fear makes me sound like a hypochondriac but I seriously am not. I hate being sick but I just can't get out of this fug just now. Never mind. Hopefully get some answers after tomorrow.

I was furious at DS this morning as for the second time since he has gone back to school since the summer he overslept. If he misses his school bus he has no other way of getting to school other than getting a lift. DD took him last time and I gave her £5 for petrol and I ended up having to take him this morning:mad:. I was fuming. He was trying to make small talk on way up and I ended up telling him to be quiet as I was too angry to talk to him. I could have been doing with the extra sleep today and also it has used up extra petrol for me when I am trying hard to cut down on spends. He is getting warned tonight that he will be paying the cost himself in future. What's most annoying though i that he was still up at 11.20 last night until I yelled at him to get to bed so no bloody wonder he is tired today.

Going to do an inventory of freezer today and see what I have. I can't buy anything just now anyway as I need to get one freezer cleared so I can defrost it and then move all the stuff over so I can defrost the other one. Both desperately need done as they have been left open at times and ice has built up. I'm heading to do that just now actually. Back later xx

  • Paid my £12 child tax credit off of tesco card and £17.38 came off of total. It's like free money and I'm loving it :D

One freezer now defrosted. Am getting it frozen up again and will transfer stuff from other freezer into it and get that done as well. Then I can look for best butchermeat buys and get them stocked up again. I'm going to spend as little as I can this month on shopping. I have quite a bit of fish in the freezers so looking like a fishy month for me as kids will not touch it. Not a huge fan myself but I'll eat it anyway. I still have over 60 meals in freezers so will buy mince, pizzas and bread to fill freezers up and not much else.

  • Good morning. Feeling a bit better today. Been to docs, ended up in tears as so frustrated with ongoing health issues. 8 vials of bloods later and being tested for thyroid and coeliac problems. Fingers crossed I get some answers as I am fed up and I am fed up moaning about it. I need some energy please.

Still off of work today and will go back on Monday. I reckon doc would have given me a sick line today but I don't want that. I'll go back to work on Monday.

Today I need to try and do something with my house. I am away to Edinburgh tomorrow to the university with my son. I'm then going to my friend's caravan at night to stay for a girly night. I'm supposed to be going to a rally on Sunday in Glasgow but I have heard that there may be trouble at it so might not do that. TBH I will need a quiet day before going back to work on Monday. I also need to get some shopping in as well. I have lists for Aldi, Morrisons and ASDA. All checked against my supermarket and hopefully getting me the best prices I can get.

I bets get on then :)

  • Hope you get somewhere with the blood results, not that I'm wishing you poorly, but that they find something which can be treated and make you feel better.

    Have a fab weekend Xx

Glad I'm not the only one getting organised for Christmas!

Hope you get the answers you need, and some more energy, soon!
  • Hi guys. Moomin I need to start as only another 2 wages to go :eek:.

Been to butchers and bought a whole lorne which is a bout 20 slices of square sausage and also 6 quarter pounder burgers. Cost was £14.97. I spent £25.97 in ALDI. This includes at least 6 meals and stocked up on shampoo and shower gel so I am happy with that. I'll go to ASDA later with DD as we are heading out to the pictures tonight. She can't have anyone else to go with as she has asked me :rotfl:

I have written my birthday cards for this month. I have 1 gift still to buy for my friend's husband. I usually end up getting him a bottle of vodka but I'll ask her if he needs anything.

Took a leather belt I had bought DS on hols to cobbler to get more holes in it and cobbler wouldn't charge me :D. I also got bank bags so I can now bag up my coins and get them into bank. I usually just use the coin star machine as I can't be bothered going to bank but I need to take the 50p's in anyway so I will just take it all at the same time.

    Back later xx

If you have an account with RBS some of their branches now have coin deposit machines so you just chuck in the coin, it prints off a voucher for you to give to the cashier and they then pay it in. You don't have to bag it up :D

That *could* be the reason I still have a current account with them with £1 in it ;)
