If I took part in any other type of jumping I'd squish him. But then he looks like a strong chappy
I am very excited. We are recruiting and I am doing the interviews. I did the training a good while ago and got an e-mail today asking if anyone had been trained. I replied yes but hadn't actually done any interviewing yet. I was then told no as I would need to consolidate my learning to which my answer was well that'll be never then as you will not give me the chance to consolidate and lo and behold I am now on the board ...........wahey!!
Back at work today. Am shattered but needs must
Slightly nervous now as CSA money hasn't arrived. At a huge squeeze I can manage without it but I am hoping it will arrive. It was as late as the 9th before so I am hoping it's just a wee bit late.
It's ex OH's 50th this coming weekend and DD has told him that she has no intention of attending his birthday bash. She said it would be superficial to sit there with people she hardly knows and doesn't particularly like. Said why should she do that for him as he has never done anything for her. I said I thought she was being a bit harsh but it was her choice and she just said nah Mum he's had his last chance with me back in April and he blew it yet again. What can I do?? I feel sad about it tbh and just wish he had been the Father they deserved, but hey ho he wasn't and I'll just be here to sweep up the pieces as usual5 Year plan. Just ordered this. Go to L'Occitane site, Order a soap at £4 and use code MCHUG. Will cost you £3.95 postage and £4 for soap but I reckon this is an amazing offer. I love L'Occitane products. I ordered zesty lime

Well what a busy few days I have had. Not had a minute to come on here at all. Went to see Still Game show on Wednesday night with DS. I had bought him the tickets last Christmas. great wee night with lots of laughs. I bought him his dinner and a T-shirt at the show. Also bought some nibbles and juice. Thurs night we were working which meant I had today off
. Was exhausted though as I had worked from 8am through to 8.30pm so I ended up in bed really early. Day off of work yesterday but had a shift for 2nd cleaning job. Met a friend for dinner which cost £25  but was so lush it was worth every penny. I then met other friends for drinks and spent another £30 . Today my head is feeling every penny spent *ouch*. Going for a quick bit with DD tonight as well as DS is heading out for dinner for his Dad's birthday and she has refused to attend so we will have some Mum and daughter time. No doubt cost me another £20 but hey ho life gets in the way sometimes.
I don't really need any shopping as we have eaten out nearly all week so everything is still there. Am seriously hoping next week is quieter and cheaper.
I am however well over my £530 target this month. I might still end up a wee bit overdrawn but I will try and keep it to a minimum. I was £400 overdrawn last month so as long as I am lower than that then I will be happy. It's all progress :rotfl:
I hope everyone is well and happy xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Had a lovely time with DD. Had dinner which cost me £24. I then went to ASDA and bought 2 pairs of jeans for me for £26. This really really was an essential as I have no jeans whatsoever and also hardly any bottom half clothes. I have a few tops but only 2 pairs of trousers and 1 skirt.I have millions of clothes but nowt that bloody fits :mad:
Also spent about £10 on essentials- wotsits, ben and jerrys and puff pastry. Now that kind of shopping list might just be a small hint as to why none of my clothes fit me !!

Hope you get a breather, you're always so busy.
Did your CSA money arrive? Do hope so.
Tricky with ex and children. DS still won't communicate with his Dad since he left for overseas over 2 years ago. Just have to ride it out and you do a grand job all round. :T
L'Occitane set sounds great. I picked up a couple of sets last Jan at half price - they'll be coming out for Christmas presents this yearBack on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
Hi Ali. CSA money arrived thankfully but I need to remind myself not to get reliant on it as it could stop at any time. I've had quite a lazy day today tbh and other than church ( if I;m up early enough) I have no plans for tomorrow. I'll need to clean the house a bit but that shouldn't take too long.
L'Occitane set consisted of a handcream and a lip balm so approx £14 worth of stuff but still for free. I'll put it in as an extra with someone's Christmas or buy a scarf and use it as a secret santa present. It'll most definitely get used somehow.
What a shame your DS has no contact with his Dad but what can we do? If the kids feel let down then we can only be there for them. DS has had a lovely night with his Dad and his family. He's come home full of it. His Dad is also going to take him to one of the uni open days. This will save me doing it so why am I so annoyed about it? I moan that he doesn't get involved and then I'm not happy when he does !! I think I am worried that he'll make promises to DS and then fail to deliver and obviously yet again I will need to pick up the pieces. So I'll just smile and nod and tell him that's fab. And I will internally growl :rotfl:5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

MiT I think we need another challenge on your diary.
You (and everyone else) did really well on the no sweet treats challenge.
I think you can manage to cut back your spending on things that are not essential.
I was the same as you MiT, if I go near a shop I think I have to stock up and buy some treats. Now I go to a supermarket once a week and we are allowed £1 each to spend on chocolate plus I only have a set budget for food shopping which is in a separate account, when it's gone it's gone.
I do have to say though that the jeans were an essential purchase!!0
