Scorchio scorchio scorchio !! Got 2 fans on and still scorchio :D Loving it. I hope the weather stays nice until the games are over.

Gold medals all over the place for the Brits. Swimming race at 9pm has a young local lad in it Ross Murdoch so we are all excited. Also one of the boys in that race works for the same department as me so I am all agog as I know 2 of them. Well I haven't actually met them but I am claiming them :rotfl:

Had to go to Morrisons on way home and spent £92 BUT I really felt as if I got loads of stuff. Loads of meals and lots of ice and ice cream type thing. Also loads of water and flavoured water. A big spend but the cupboards were getting pretty empty. DS is off school for holidays and is like a locust. Only other spend was 75p for newspaper for £5 off Aldi voucher and £2.99 for lunch.

I am hopeful all the wasps are away and windows are wide open around the house trying to get some air. I ended up on couch again last night and got 3.5hrs sleep. I am now running on empty xx

Ald! have got those long ice pop packs for 89p - stocked up for DS last night.

Which paper was the Ald! voucher in? I might see if the shop has one leftover tomoz, might be too late though as think unsold papers get sent back. :(

Well done the Brits and the medals :T Not managed to watch any today - just the programme on the Beeb at the mo. Roll on the weekend :D

It was in the Daily Record Ali. I've got loads of ice poles as well and DD is taking them to her workmates when she goes back after lunch to cool them all down.

Gorgeous day again today. 1st load of washing ready to go out on line and another load in machine. I'm getting hair cut at 1.30 :j. It's so thick I am roasted so it needs to get thinned out and chopped. Need my colour done as well. Will be about £40 for that .

It's also a good friends birthday. I took her for lunch last eek but am going to take up a card and bunch of flowers for her today.

Am off work today as was at breast clinic with DD. No problems whatsoever I am glad to report :D. I was quite nervous by the time we got there and DD was worried sick that she would need blood tests as she hates needles.

So a nice busy day ahead but all good xx

We were very lucky to go on holiday a few weeks ago and I couldn't have afforded tickets as well... I'm not moaning cos we had a fab time though, going to take the kids to glasgow next weekend just for a wander and to soak up the atmosphere...loving watching the tv.

Glad your dd got on ok at the clinic and I hope you get your op really soon xx

Thanks on the paper, I missed it. :( Must keep an eye out for when they're going in the papers.

Brilliant news about DD, what a relief - it's been a long wait.

I'm about 12 hrs behind you MiT - first load of washing just in, it is great to get it out on the line and drying so quick.

Hope you're feeling all glam and cooler with your hair done :D Think we're heading for 30C here tomorrow  I'll wimp out and stay indoors I think :rotfl:

Nonnie we are heading up on Sunday to watch the marathon. Maybe head to George Square as there is a music festival on as well. The atmosphere will be fabulous. Glad you managed a nice holiday x

INOD I am a rubbish friend as I never went near my friend today :o. So so hot that after getting hair done I just came home and took a book into the garden. It was sheer bliss. I even put my shorts on.

Ali hair is smashing. Got my colour done and have booked for day before my holiday for a trim and highlights. Cost was £40 today and no doubt be the same in 5 weeks. I will get my eyebrows waxed and lashes tinted before I go as well. My lovely niece bought me a voucher to get my nails done as well so I will get them done before I go as well. I'll be a pure babe :rotfl:

No other spends today. Chips, pie and beans for dinner. I don't normally make that type of dinner but Morrisons had 3 mince pies for £1 so a bargain dinner and it was totally delicious. Was toasties foe lunch. Kids love when I'm off work as I do all the cooking. So instead of them opening a tin or a packet they get real food. Lazy bug gers.

Had a nice wee chat with my neighbour today. This set of neighbours are very quiet and keep themselves to themselves but if you get chatting out back then they will blether away. They are getting old now and both have quite bad medical problems. My both sets of neighbours are in their 70's. All lovely people. I'm very lucky

Working tomorrow and I reckon the shorts will be on as I will be dying cleaning in this heat. It will be worth it though as I will use the money to take us to Glasgow on Sunday and we will have a fab day.
