Evening folks. I have been so down this past couple of weeks so tonight I have done some thinking and juggled some figures about and I am hopefully going to be in a better position. If I double what I am paying to my CC then I can be clear 3 years come December. I was getting really down as I couldn't see an end to the payments. I just need to get back to being organised. I have lots of excess cash now once I pay everything and I have just been wasting so much recently. So whilst I am getting money from ex then I am going to go for it hammer and tongs. I am making myself unhappy as I am not in control just now. A lot of this is due to being so unwell a lot of the time. That is getting me down as I am not used to being ill BUT I need to be thankful that at least once I get my op then I should be back to 100% fit. Some poor souls will never be well again. So plan of action as follows:-

    1) Pay £560 minimum each month to CC - concentrate on ASDA card first
    2) Sort out food situation and only buy what is needed each week by menu planning
    3) Get back on track with diet and back into NST and include crisps this time ( I've proven I can do it)
    4) Stop saying YOLO when it comes to money or I will be paying debt forever.
    5)Live within my means
6)Do as many extra cleaning shifts that I can BUT if it is an extra shift then make sure the money comes off CC as an additional payment.

So I just need to stick to this and take control of everything or I am going to be a fat, skint pensioner before I know it and I really really don't want that. I am 50 in 1 years time and I want to look dynamite and have made a huge hole in my debt by then. I know I have said all this before but I really am scunnered and am going to have to get some help from doc soon for my low mood if I don't take control. So bear with me lol whilst I get started xx

Evening folks. I feel 100% better tonight. Antibiotics have kicked in and symptoms are subsiding. Feel as if I have been to loo about 400 times today mind you.

I forgot to confess to £3.80 spend on lunch yesterday and also £4 spent at local shop. None necessary so all wasted money. However today I spent £1.75 on chips as we ended up at hospital with my SIL who took unwell and my brother called an ambulance. Thankfully she is fine and is home. Put 50p ( was all I had) into a collection in work. No other spends.

Never went to chub club tonight as I haven't been good and I know I am retaining and if I put on weight I will just get annoyed. So I will carry on and hopefully it'll be off by next week,

Not much more to tell. I have a grievance to deal with in work and boy am I thankful that I took copious notes at meetings and got the notes signed as this member of staff is spouting a load of lies about me. I have witnesses al over the place so am not overly worried about it but I just can't be bothered with the hassle and the drama of it all. I'm not going to change my decisions anyway. Happy days !!

I admire you MIT. That kind of thing at work just really got me down (especially when overloaded). I wish I'd been a bit stronger, am not ever going to let myself get so overworked that I don't have the energy to deal with crxp. It's just work after all.

Hope you feel better soon. I'm going to dig out my 'natural highs ' book. When I do a few things from that my energy levels increase and my mood lifts.

    :)

Given that the grievance is unfounded, should you instigate a disciplinary for a vexatious complaint? It's possibly the only way of halting future stuff

INOD and SS the person in question appears all quiet and nervous and acts as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. She is having an affair with the married union rep and suddenly has grown balls. She is totally rubbish at her job and I took her in and gently told her on numerous occasions where she was going wrong( which she seems to have forgotten about !!) Also said I did nothing to support her ( again lies as I brought in at least 3 procedures to suit her) I spent weeks doing stress risk assessments.Took jobs off of her and did them myself as she had no clue despite writing step by step instructions and sticking them to her monitor and that was after sitting with her and talking her through things. Bottom line is she's a dumpling and even though on the easiest job in the office she still can't cope. She has already started her nonsense with her new manager. I had a good old chat with her new manager this morning and just warned her to make absolutely sure she documents everything. Piece of nonsense tbh. Anyway I'll do what needs to be done and put it behind me.

I have had a day of nightmares. I have been getting asps into DD and I's bedroom over the past week or so. DD was stung as she stood on one which was laying on her rug and most mornings I was waking up to at least one wasp in my room. Now last night was so so hot I had no covers on me and at 2.30am I was stung twice on my leg. It is still pretty sore. Had to come down and sleep on the couch. So all in all I got approx 3hrs sleep last night. I called local council and they said it would take about 5 days to come out and cost would be £48 . I went to a local pest controller and he came tonight and charged £35. I am completely freaked out as he said there is an old nest up in loft which is about 2 feet tall from the floor. It is not being used but he says it really needs to go. He will come back when the current nest is completely dead and remove them both for me. I didn't even ask what it would cost as I don't even care I am so freaked. My house is so hot and I will not open any windows.

Everywhere here is buzzing with excitement due the Commonwealth games. We are all very proud and can't wait to see all the goings on. A few friends saw the dress rehearsal fro the opening ceremony on Monday and have said it is fantastic so I will be glued to that later. That's my telly sorted out for next 2 weeks :D.

Other spends amounted to £5.20 for milk, rolls, lunch and choc bar :o. I had to get change to pay the wasp man :rotfl:

I'm with you on the wasps. To my mind, it's a necessity as I wouldn't sleep properly otherwise.
