We had a lovely lunch. My cousin came as well and we chatted about my Mum and my uncle. I had some tears and they are very close to the surface but I wouldn't be normal if they weren't . My Aunty paid for lunch as she said she was going to treat the last time but I ended up in hospital. I didn't even argue with her.

Cleaned up my kitchen this morning and DD came home for lunch. I heated up spme soup for her before I left and kitchen was spotlessly clean. By thetime I have come home it looks like there has been a riot in it. DD has obvioulsy emptied her bedroom of dishes and both her lunch dishes and DS's lunch dishes were strewn all round. So tonight there will be a lecture as I am heartily sick of their laziness.

I also spent an hour in the garden edging my lawn. Not finished yet bu t it looks much better already.

Just waiting on my fruit and veg being delivered so not going to be a NSD today. I have run out of fruit though so it was a necessary spend.

Fat club tonight so I will buy the rocky road bars and that'll be me.

    Thanks Skinny.

Well today has turned into a spendy one unfortunately. £21 for fruit and veg and DD bought a box of chicken breasts from them for £25  I also spent £4.50 in slimming club on bars and raffle.

Only lost half a pound this week but considering we were away and it was very difficult to know how good I was being and also 2 large ice creams and popcorn then maybe I should be thankful that I actually lost a half pound. I want 2.5 next week so I will knuckle down this week and be ultra good.

DD's ex BF turned up at the door whilst she was here alone. I've not spoken to her yet as she has gone out for dinner with her pal but I think it was rather awkward as he wants her back but so far she's having none of it. I feel so sorry for him but equally I do not want her in that relationship.

Wee chill evening tonight as I am tired due to lack of sleep last night.

Hi folks. Just on to report spends. Spent £9.48 in Aldi but £5.50 of that was for flowers for my mum. Also spent £24.18 in Iceland.

My brother his wife and my niece are coming for dinner tonight so a fair bit of that spend was for things for the meal.

Found out today that one of my good friends from work has motor neurone disease. I am devastated. She retired recently as her health wasn't so good but we ( including her) all thought it as down to her COPD but no it's not. My other friend phoned me in such a state and I can't even manage today to call as I am just managing to hold it together never mind this happening as well. No-one knows except her close family and myself and this other girl so I can't even tell anyone as she needs to take it in herself before she wants others to be told. I cannot tell you how sad I feel today. I will however kick my own backside as I will go and see her tomorrow. Life really sucks sometimes :(

Thanks guys, I just feel surrounded by sadness just now and it better 'do one'. I am however going to be thankful that although I am touched by the sadness that it's all not actually happening to me.

The rest of today has been really nice. We all went to cemetery together and it was lovely. We then had a really nice dinner and a few laughs. Phone hasn't stopped all night with friends and family checking up on me so I will count my blessings and pick myself up :)

Thanks verbatim. I like to think you reap what you sow so I try and be a good friend and I get it back in spades.

Mood has lifted this morning and am feeling much more positive. Amazing what a night's sleep will do for you.

I have had the people out from the Green deal initiative today. I got my survey done a few weeks ago and I am getting loft insulation, under floor insulation, external cladding and roughcasting and 16 solar panels fitted.............next week :eek:. I had to pay £2k this morning and the green deal will be repaid from the energy savings I make. I do not own the solar panels but I will get 4kw of free electricity per day whilst the panels are drawing solar power. So basically during daylight hours. I am getting a £6.5k grant towrds it as well. I hate that I have added £2k to my debt but I have some damp and this will completely cure that problem and additionally will put extra value onto my house. I can opt to buy out the solar panels at any time for a cost of £3.5k which is much cheaper than the last time I looked into getting these fitted.

I am a bit scared to have increased my debt again but I will just get on with it and do my best. I needed to preserve y property and this is the cheapest way I can see to do it.:eek:

I am heading out for lunch now with a friend. I haven't seen her for a couple of weeks so I am looking forward to it. Hopefully no other spends today. But hey £2k is enough of a spend in a day in anyone's books :o
