Forgot to mention, picked up 2 jars of mincemeat reduced to 5p each and cranberry sauce to 20p. All to put away for next Christmas, not bad eh?

One more morning to go and it's the much needed weekend,phew!

A busy afternoon planned tomorrow though, however not complaining at all as its good to not work Friday afternoon at least for a while longer.

Nsd 6 today of course, no pennies left!

A good relaxing weekend, which was much needed with this cold that has arrived. As the weather was so bad watched plenty of films instead!

Did shred with weights on Friday and today which takes me into the 3rd week this week, the longest stretch of exercise since last summer! 2 weeks left at level 1 then I can move onto the advanced section at long last, if all goes to plan!

Not much else to report apart from a low spend weekend and today is NSD 10

Feeling very bleurgh aster a big cold has arrived. Hoping it clears up soon.

Naughty dog picked out my half eaten half empty bag of mini eggs out of my work bag as soon as I got home. Looks like he didn't eat any as the bag seemed as full and it was flat in the floor, naughty boy though for doing that!

Glad I shredded yesterday and hoping I feel better tomorrow to do another round. Working from home tomorrow as I have a dental appointment in the morning so have plenty to get on with and hoping to have time to fit in a few quick home jobs too to free up some weekend time, should be able to.

Early tea and early night here I think as I had a rubbish night sleep last night to start with and could do with a bit of a catch up!

Well dental appt went well today although they are back to 4 monthly appts now to keep an eye on a dodgy back tooth which I will keep mega clean as it's an awkward tooth these days!

Anyhow, caught up with work jobs this afternoon then managed to finally sweep and mop the floors at long last as it was a drying day for once! Then after work time was over nipped up to see if the bargain paint was still on offer in the shade I wanted. Well, it was and I bit the bullet and went for a colour/shade I would normally avoid, but it's the colour I think will look great in there and the colour scheme I saw and had in my mind. Also got a few wallpaper samples too to see how they might look.

Even though it's some way off getting the next room done it made sense to buy the paint while half price.

Cold still here and has turned into a chesty cough and sore throat meaning I'm giving exercise a break today and will see how I feel tomorrow or Friday as I'm determined not to lose the progress I've made!

Decided to take two days off after feeling pretty dreadful last night and looking dreadful this morning full of cold. When I rang in sick they could tell straight away!

Anyhow I had to go out for some milk which I was planning to get while at work today, while out thought I'd better get the final tin if paint while on offer otherwise I'd really kick myself about not buying it for that price. Plumped for a complementary but completely different colour, hope I've made the right choice! Decided to go for the colour I originally thought rather than the ones I thought might tone with it. I hope the two colours are the right choices and look good together. Decided on paint rather than wallpaper as the whole room is being replastered when I have enough saved up for the job.

Not much else planned apart from tea drinking this afternoon

Felling better at last, yeah!

House cleaned today and haircut and that's about it!

Not feeling completely back to normal yet, just better. Anyhow, caught up on some jobs at home today including some long overdue baking at last!

Also got around to updating the crazy clothes challenge front page with all the new members, grwat to see so many taking part!

Budget time also this morning, going to be a tight squeeze but should make it just if I squeeeeeeeezzzzzeeee.

Updated the budget to reflect the increase in costs for travel, line saver and medical costs. Also will have to include the new water and council tax costs when they come through over the next couple of months.

Didn't get shortlisted for the job I applied for, which didn't come as a surprise after these weeks passed by. Need to keep looking as mine is coming to an end in a few months time. Trying not to feel anxious about this, there's still plenty of time until that deadline. Will need to apply myself like I did before to get a new job and believe I can do it.

Feeling much better now and did another round of shred with weights as I haven't done any for a whole week with that horrible virus thing. 2 more to do this week then another week on level one next week and it's time to step up to level 2 which looks very advanced!

Train fare only spend today despite the automated ticket machine not working again this morning it's taking a pending payment out if my account which took 10 days to resolve last time and pennies are very tight this month on the travel and food budget.

Cheque paid in from the cd sales which will go off to the loan overpayment once it clears.

Not much out there job wise right now however I'll keep looking.

Nsd 16 today and no clothes spend day 19!

Tomorrow I will ring the bank to chase up a decision from them which is now overdue. I will also take the paint back as it is no longer needed. Hmm, what else? Maybe a free evening? Better put some more rubbish into the bin on the long term clearance. Also sort out the meal plan for the weekend and try the CDs on another site to see if I can sell any remaining ones.
