Feeling almost back to normal at last.

Yesterday had a walk up to town to buy a few bits budgeted for and a present out of present budget. Then took it fairly easy for the rest of the day.

Today I'm going to exercise for the first time in a long time, let's see how I feel afterwards! It's been at least a month and it's time to get back on track as I feel like I'm putting weight on for the first time in a long long time. Planning today and another day this week then see how I feel for another day.

Today I'm making some Christmas food to freeze, soup, cleaning and washing some clothes to pretend to dry outside, then finish off food shopping, get work stuff ready for tomorrow which will be a struggle to get up with how tired I feel. Luckily have a day off on Wed for s day out Christmas shopping which is a nice mid week break.

Also have seen a job to apply for and I'll make a start on that this week too.

Grrr, the bank charged me once again for the packaged bank account fee despite the previous 4 phonecalls to come back down to a non fee paying account. After a phonecall the fee will be refunded to me and should show tomorrow.

Anyway dispute resolved if the refund shows up tomorrow.

Books deposited to go to tomorrow and see what the outcome is there from the buyers.

Estimate received for the next room renovation, my room, once I save enough over the next few months I hope I can get it done in the next 5 months which would be ace! Meaning I will have renovated 4 rooms in under a year. Is it possible? Of course it is!

I'll work out the budget and see how it all adds up and also keep an eye out for a paint offer once again. Along with working out decorating and carpet costs.

Have found a job I really will apply for, it sounds like one I've been looking for all along. Closing date a few weeks off but I will need this time to work on the application.

Happily a NSD start to the month and off the mark with NSD 1 today.

  • Wow you pack so much in, great news on staying out of your overdraft for so long that's a real achievement and also all the rooms that you have decorated.

Good luck with the job application, I used to photocopy mine and write in rough first before doing the final.

Glad you are feeling better, did you manage to get some exercise done? It's always hard getting that first session done but you'll soon get into the swing of it.

Hope you enjoy work tomorrow knowing you have a lovely day off x

I did exercise on Sunday night instead of watching the Striclty results show. Felt better for it although a little achy this morning as a result.

Not sure if I'll have time today so next time will be Friday. Day off tomorrow and day out, can't wait!

Yeah! I have a beautiful new window in the spare room. It looks brilliant and fits perfectly along with its new windowsill that also fits and all gaps are sealed up!

The only thing left to do in there now is to put the curtain pole up and the curtains and all is done unless a super cheap wardrobe turns up unexpectedly!

A busy weekend flew by. A great time though mountain biking locally in the cold. A good day out last week too and all Christmas present shopping is finished too. Just cards to write and wrapping to do next week.

Need to crack on with the job application, did some parts last week, still many parts to complete before it's ready to submit.

Upto NSD 7 today along with no clothes day 7 too as I bought a shirt last week.

Yipee the curtain pole is up along with curtains, finishing the room off. Glad I was able to reuse the old curtains as they look rather good up there among the new decor!

All finished ready for my family visit next week and for Christmas too. Just need to get saving now for the next room which is another big job.

Off to see mum to tomorrow to finish off the Christmas preps.

Money looking very tight this month too, I'll have to keep the belt tight for the next couple of months.

No exercise this week again, really need to get back in track again. Must be the time of year that's putting me off along with being busy renovating. Now it's all finished I should easily have plenty of time to fit half an hour in to condition and tone. No excuse allowed!
