    YAWN.

I'm off to bed now. i've got to get up early in the morning to prep a load of stuff to take to the post office. Stuff that i've made a nice profit on and sold easily on ebay, Stuff that would have taken me much longer to sell for the same profit elsewhere!
    Is there an elsewhere?

There are ways of doing it without Ebay, much cheaper ways than Ebay, they are just slower and less predictable. I know that a combination of ways works best for me. But i'm happy to pay Ebay the fees they ask for in return for the general ease of sales and transactions. Time is money and in general Ebay selling is less time consuming than a lot of others!
Compared to no other real alternatives. Enjoy paying them 10% and only being 90% as well off as you could be. Your choice, and your actions, keep it that way.

(what do you sell btw? anything I might be interested in? :D )

you make it happen, your the one complaining!

No, not really ... I merely didn't b1itch at the idea of a seller requesting that a sale be cancelled. I don't have any problem with it at all and would fully support far more sellers doing the same. Then change would be so much easier.

Interesting that some people who use ebay to make a profit think it should be some public service run entirely for their benefit.

    Good point.

We are all in this to make money and I assume the ones complaining aren't giving their stuff away as a charitable gesture.

Jeezo... I didn't realise eBay's fees provoked such a reaction in folk. Wouldn't even occur to me to not pay for a service completed successfully.
