Not a lot of flying today other than out of the front door to go off to London. Had a lovely time with DD at Ally Pally and am now totally exhausted. Wandering round the stands doesn't suit my arthritic spine so I'm going to have a lazy evening and do some knitting.

I did manage to get a load in the WM and clean the kitchen sink and surfaces before we left.

I'd like to get out in the garden this weekend but the weather forecast for the south east is very wet.

    Hello ladies

it has, as predicted, been a hugely hectic week. On the plus side they are lovely, and sweet. This is a good thing - it appears I might not be clear for take off for some considerable time. I may well be involved in a Nativity Production  Ive been in them; I've been the mother of performers (including a very snippy boot-clad 'angel' who seemed to think that her raison d'etre was to kick the adjacent boot-clad 'angel! (It was a fair, and equal, 'fight'!) but I have NEVER been called upon to produce them. Or cast them, a role, I anticipate, fraught with difficulty!

I shall probably weakly lob tenners at people for Christmas :rotfl: Roll on half term!

On a flying note I have ironed the tiny ironing pile tonight.

    Hope you're all well.

  • I have been playing hookey this week

The BD and I have been having a wrestle, I have been using all the sticks I can to clobber it over the head with.

The kids have been fed, bathed, and played with this week (as they are every week!)
Mt Foldmore has been demolished to no more than a few stray odd socks.
DD4 has now had her cot dragged off the landing and into DD1 old room, and I am slowly in the process of moving DD4's stuff an armful at a time into her new room.

Finally getting my car sorted out from end of July from hit and run in car park, too scared to drive courtesy car yet, but have to take DS out tomorrow so will have to start again.

My car de-gibbled and quickly hoovered before being taken away.

Had a good 9p bargain night at Morribunds on Monday so slowly eating my way through lots of cheap but boring bread based dinners.

Kitchen could do with a good blitz, so I might get on that tomorrow morning before kids wake up.

Haven't had a proper chance to catch up with fred from last week or this week so congratultions, commiserations, hugs, sticks, spoons as required x
The cold never bothered me anyway

As soon as he is earning I will change Dusty. He has no income at all and I'm not subbing him any money.

No money means he has no phone. He can't afford a phone as he refuses to work. Hit him where it may just start to hurt!

Still lots to do on the paperwork front before friends come tomorrow, plus shopping with DS2 so off to bed now for an early start tomorrow.
