I've done naff all today :o. I'll have a little half hearted attempt at doing something shortly and will bribe the kids to do the DW and fold the clothes.
Just totally wiped out at the moment and struggling to sleep at night. It's as though my body is telling me that it's time to get off night shifts for good. Don't know what or how I would cope though as don't think kids are really old enough to come home alone for 2 hours. Hmm. Will think on.

Doing well in the Dining Room

Reason not to leave piles of stuff on the floor, somehow it got wet underneath- no idea how, all clean now. The piles are on the table but will not be going back. I am determined to deal with them, sort them, exterminate them.

Just need to pop to corner shop which will give me a breather and loosen my back up.

Mumto5 assuming you pay the bill on the phone then I'd cancel it. Mine have to take on their own phone bills the month after their 18th birthday.

Raphael He is 6 foot 3, I am 5, 7. Not physically possible to remove it from him. Lists are given to him - he ignores them. This is what I mean when I say he does nothing.

As soon as he is earning I will change Dusty. He has no income at all and I'm not subbing him any money.

Christmas cake fruit is marinating in booze. I want to scoff the lot! I will cook it tomorrow when they go to football at 1.

All dry washing folded. Now to procrastinate some more before I get the IB out.

Just off to add the finishing sprigs of deliciousness to the food in the SC.. oooh.. wonder if I have suet to ply OH with stodgy dumplings!? I'll check..

Arm fixed back on Squeaks specs, buttons bought for doggy eyes, bread, milk and fruit stocked up on. Tesco order done for tomorrow which I need to update.. They want £1 for 3 onions so I got a huge net for £1.50 instead!! I sorted the presents to go to my mothers and sent her a bill for then £82.13 for 5 of the children.. 9 more to do, 2 inlaws and me and OH .. should keep my busy if I keep recycling the same £82 :D

I might get back to this weekly shop of £100 or thereabouts see if I can rein back some of this unnecessary spending.

Kiddies are gone to grandparents, had a quick tidy round, bit of laundry shuffling and putting away of school stuff and we are tidy!

So all I have to do is get myself bathed, hair washed and dried and decide what to wear! I'm thinking something warm, brrr but I have got my pretty new scarf :T might also sneak some gloves in my bag for later...

Oh and I said I'd call DS just before his bedtime. It was a bit rushed between getting home, quick change and out again and he was a bit "I need mummy" and "can you come too?" Bless him. So I told him I'll phone him, and then he can call me tomorrow on the way home from the seaside and I will come and stay at granny's too.

It won't happen, lol, he'll be far too busy to speak to the likes of me :rotfl:

Right, I'm off to run a nice bubble bath!

Have been to my Dad's and have done two hours flinging and cleaning. His house is pretty clean for a 71 year old man but he hoards and is messy!
for example, he has a small sofa in his kitchen, I hoovered it with his rubbish hoover (shall take my henry next time!) lifted the cushions up and underneath he had stuffed loads of magazines and papers :eek:which are now in a big pile on his worktop for him to sort through when he gets home!
In his under sink cupboard he had 12 cans of deodrant:eek: I can see my lovely pop needs a bit of decluttering help. Have bought his cushion covers home for a wash and a few towels, nice to be able to do something for him for a change. I also cleaned his fridge and flung some manky bits- haven't done my own yet!!

Washing put away, things put back in their homes, vacuumed all the way thru. Managed to do all the lists in the 2 days I've been home (apart from the will) so quite pleased with my achievement.

Just had a text to say my step-dad is home already :) not bad for 4 days after almost a 14 hour op  he's doing really well.

just been into town, had to pop in drs to chew a small frog (well part of a large one) then nipped in T's as i realised wed run out of wine and i think we deserve a glass each tonight, been round mils to help sort some stuff out and finally persuaded her to make the necklace that DD1 bought her 2 christmases ago. all she had to do was open a ring pull can, open the oyster that was in it, take pearl out dry it and pop it in the little silver cage that came with it hey presto necklace made. anyway when i left she was wearing it so ive rung DD1 to tell her pressie is being worn so shes happy as well.
just put DS1, important papers back in a safe place (frog ive been meaning to do since he got his new job so they dont get lost)
have now got to go back into town to meet DS1 off the bus.

will finish our room once i get back from there.
