    Morning all

Laundry away, plugs shloshed, WM on.

Off walking in 15 with my friend and then a crazy list flying time, I really want to try to have a weekend off from flying for a change.

Morning all!! Just got back in from my bootcamp. The early start was worth it cos I found a tenner lying on the floor on the walk there! :j
Ran back the long way to get a 6 mile run too. I'm off to Exeter on Sunday for the GWR!

Heading for the shower now, then will take the pooch for walkies and get started on my huge list.

Also, with regards to breast don't forget those routine smear tests. I had my first routine one this year and the nurse was thrilled that I had gone, after just one letter, and she told me to tell all my friends. When speaking to friends it seems that no-one likes going so just puts it off and puts it off. Meanwhile it took about 60 seconds for mine, didn't even hurt, and I know that the results were good too :) Great to try and raise awareness - the things us ladies have to go through, more nurses should be kind like mine was!

Mine always hurts, but I always go. I'd rather have 5 mins discomfort but know.
OH is petrified with anything doc/dentist related so she refuses to go.

    Morning all,
CY hugs to you and your mum

So far I have scrubbed out the wheelie bin and put new liner in, emptied kitchen bin and cleaned, emptied DW, cleaned filters and wiped seals before putting one of those cleaning things in, S&s kitchen, put pots in sink to soak and cut my bloody finger so I've now got to find some gloves so I can wash pots:mad:
Then I must tackle upstairs before going food shopping and doing stuff at my dads for him- freelance flying for free- look at that Valli for alliteration:cool:

    Better find that list
ps Raphael- you must be super fit:eek:

Not an easy one but do you all have a Will? Do you have a file with all the important documents in, savings, insurance details etc. Unfortunately too many of us know that life has a tendency to toss a curved ball.

I felt very bad for clicking and running yesterday, so my sincere apologies for not saying how sorry I was to hear about the loss of both your beloved cat and your friend, Deco. Please take it gently today, and accept a hug from me.

Echoing stuff about breast checks and smears. Still miss my best friend who died 25 years ago, entirely due to, 'No, I don't want to go for a smear' when I saw the reminder from her surgery on the kitchen table. Which meant by the time they found it, it was much, much too late.

Jazee, so glad to hear SickDog is perking up. Mrs Dog spends the first hour after each morphine dose wandering about crying, but then snoozes happily and is, I think, healing at last.

The gloves are already on here for dog walking on the Hoe, which had what must be the last cut of the season yesterday. It's been out of this world beautiful with clear blue skies, no wind to speak of, and crisp cold air for the past few days. Thanks to following the lists occasionally (in my normal slapdash, haphazard way) a cupboard or three has actually been turned out in time for me to find hats, socks and scarves in time to be needed. And OH and I got the secondary glazing down from the attic last weekend and he fitted it this week to keep all the warmth in. A total first. Despite the best of intentions neither normally happens until it's nearly freezing.
    Better is good enough.

Need to bob out to buy 2 grey buttons and a black one for Samuels doggy hat.. they make great eyes and noses lol.

I have about 5 projects in mind so an way ahead of myself but it means I do get a shifty on doing the current ones so I can start the next ones.

Penguin hat for Fabian, pink jumper for Dot, stripey Christmas hat for DD1, pink cardy and stripey cardy for Pixie, and a grey chunky sweater for Samuel, school cardy for Squeak and DD1's purple jumper and a bolero pattern I am looking to adapt for Dot.. erm.. yeah.. that's more than 5 :p

Guess the housey stuff can wait :p I do wipe things whenever I go in the kitchen or bathroom.

I MUST get a Tesco delivery sorted though... oooh it is Friday.. Bills to be paid now!!
