    Evening everyone.

Raph - thanks for the tip about scrambled eggs for SickDog. I will try that...am seeing improvement all the time now thank goodness.

Deco - what a week you are having. thinking of you x

Well before the paid stuff I had a clean in the bathroom but overdid it on the shower unit and actually scrubbed away some of the numbers on the dial.

Priorities tomorrow morning are changing our bedding and doing some ironing (maybe).
Spend less now, work less later.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts <3

She was an amazing person - so open, honest, zany and kind. I knew her for just over a year but will remember her for the rest of my life.

Bins emptied - kitchen one soaking in bleach solution
Dustbins put out for tomorrows collection

Must do HHI - will do it whilst watching Educating Yorkshire.

Thanks again for your kindness - it means a lot x

Dinner made and decluttered. Dishes done and put away.
Was going to put off mopping the kitchen floor til tomorrow, but thought 'nuts to it' and just got on with it. Bit awkward with my now wonky mop :o but it got done :)

Off to bed in a minute as I'm up early for another boot camp.

So sorry to hear your sad news deco, stay strong and remember the great friend you had, even if just for a short time.

Not really kept up with the thread, struggling to get used to the weekly jobs and my usual life stuff and keep up - something has to give.

Have completed almost all my jobs this week, and a few frogs have been ate too :D

Hugs to those who are in need.

Also, with regards to breast don't forget those routine smear tests. I had my first routine one this year and the nurse was thrilled that I had gone, after just one letter, and she told me to tell all my friends. When speaking to friends it seems that no-one likes going so just puts it off and puts it off. Meanwhile it took about 60 seconds for mine, didn't even hurt, and I know that the results were good too :) Great to try and raise awareness - the things us ladies have to go through, more nurses should be kind like mine was!

Well I have done 25 party bags tonight and I've stitched DS initials on to the cuff of his gloves. I've also bunged a button on each and will look at his coat this weekend to see how best to attach.

Any suggestions on minimising glove-loss incidents for reception-age kiddies? DD has Velcro on tabs on her winter coat which came with some mitts attached. I was even thinking of using a sharpie to write his name on a button to stitch onto each glove :o

And then maybe glue them to his hands until spring :rotfl:

ETA agree about all the checks and screening, DH cousin currently having chemo for cervical cancer, refused to go for her smear tests :( just not worth avoiding, its only a few minutes discomfort X

I did succumb and thread my kids gloves on elastic to minimise the losses.......
