Healing vibes for Thifty's Dad and Mr Jelly and anyone else needing them.

Flying is out the window til Friday - these two are tiring. In a good way, I hasten to add; they have two quite long walks a day, the first of which is at sparrow-fart; Dylan particularly wants to play with the tennis ball a lot, and there's their daily brush also. Hugo just wants cuddles all the time.:D

Mr LW is on late shift today, and he says he's already got two tasks scheduled for after 18:00, so goodness knows what time he'll get home. Luckily dins is the 2nd half of yesterday's pasta bake.;)

The Boys send special Jack Russell healing vibes for Mrs Dog and Sickdog and cuddles for Deco; although cats aren't their favourite things, they don't like to hear of an owner sad because one has left for the Summerlands.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Not a very good start this morning. Did a bit of paperwork and then went up in the loft to fetch down some warmer clothes.

Found stacks of things yonks old so I've dragged it all down and at the moment it's dumped in the middle of the smallest bedroom. I'm going to have a ruthless sort through - wardrobe, CS or bin.

Off for my hair declutter later.

My dining room is also the RoD! I had a mean Mummy/wifey moment the other week when the kids swapped rooms and allocated each person 1 shelf on the book case. I made them get rid of any books they're not fond of and the rest were put in the loft.
Car insurance sorted. It's gone UP £6 per month for me as owner and main driver when I've been driving longer than DH and have higher no claims. Humph.
DH has got lots of photography mags on the table. I'm not sure what to do with them at present as he's decided to go for a new job. He's been with his current boss for 14.5 years. His boss is a funny one and has just got rid of the manager he brought in in December last year (no apparent reason and has told chap that it's the others who want him gone :( ). This chap came in on Monday and told DH he'd found him a job so we'll see.
DD has a geode on the table. It's waiting to be broken and has been waiting since we got back from Florida last year! Will ask DH to do it with her this evening if he gets a chance. She's got no sea cadets tonight so can just chill out and have some Dad time.

Hoover sucked well but awful smell of burning rubber. Will ask DH to dismantle tonight and make sure all is in correct position. May be about to burn through fan belt though.
Started on the Christmas food buying last night. 2 boxes of chocs in cupboard.

DS1 is home and about to clean out his hamster, DS2 is collected and getting changed. I am going to vacuum throughout (after quick cuppa and a ciggie) then drive to collect DSS as DH is off to DSD's parent's evening a BOA.

I have been listening to an audiobook while I've been scrubbing, fantastic entertainment and I feel as though I have achieved something mental as well as physical today :)

    Weeeee!! I'm back.

Managed to visit my step-dad in hospital. He's in a lot of pain, but was sitting up and managing a joke or two. We'll find out in a few days if the op was a success or not. Hopefully he'll be home by the end of next week.

As soon as I got in the flylading started :rotfl: I shoved a load in the WM, scribbled 'return to sender' on a letter posted for someone else, grabbed the dog and headed for the postbox.

Was out for about an hour (so nice to walk after being sat on a train for 5 hours) now I've just finished a cuppa so will try and do some catching up on my lists. Not expecting to get it all done, but will give it a bally good shot!

Going to start by hanging out the washing before the sun goes in.
