Thifty - hope your Dad is getting better
Deco - sorry to hear about puss

Yesterday was a complete waste of a day and today isn't going much better - I'm so so tired all of a sudden, I'm thinking that all the "stuff" with DH is finally taking its toll with me now - need to get over that one quickly, he has a deep ct scan tomorrow, doc's this afternoon, and is feeling carp today, I did manage parents eve last night and spent 25 mins [allocated 10] arguing/discussing DS's performance in English - neither teacher and DS get on with each other so its a fairly stressful meeting, he's doing very well [he's way ahead of his peers] but they expect so much from him and although stretching him is good pushing him is not - sorry, bit of a rant there!

Todays flying - errr none yet so I really need to look at lists and do something

Good Morning Ladies (and Gents, if we have any?)
Hugs and healing thoughts to all that need them.
I think our postman must have wet the bed this morning as we had our post about half hour ago, normally we'd be lucky to get it before 2pm
My head's still in a muddle, more messages from Mr O&O yesterday, all very confusing :( but I'm trying not to over think about it and trying to find some GUAG to work on the house.

It's been piddling down all night (stopped now) so one load of washing on the airer and another on the go in the machine.
I think after I've decluttered a coffee and some toast I'm going to work on the living room, it's looking a bit of a pit :o

Dont forget Bossy, what goes up must come down - will you be able to get it back down on christmas eve, without damaging it or hurting yourself.

Yes, I've got it covered, both FIL and stepdad will be here. They all come to mine Xmas eve afternoon and stay till Boxing Day.

Hung the washing out, and other than that I've been building a Lego farm with DD :D very important job.

Going to make some lunch - not had any brekkie other than a couple of cocktail sausages when DD had snack :o

Oh I did run upstairs and make the beds and had a quick tidy...

wondered why i couldnt find it i was looking in the wrong thread.
i followed the one by mum2one about halfway down the thread. mines just about cooked now.
Dh has been fed and gone back to work so im going to get the cake out and attempt to clean the kitchen, the floor feels sticky after boiling the marmalade so im glad i had my cooking session first.

Thank you very much. I'll check my store cupboard then venture out to get any missing bits.

Thrifty - I hope you poor Dad is ok.
Deco - Sorry about your puss cat.

I've eaten a large frog today and cleaned the oven and the BBQ. Whilst I was waiting for the oven magic to do it's miracle I cleaned all the inside downstairs windows, a lot of glass and elbow grease.

WM is on it's 3rd load. Very windy today so it's drying nicely on the line.

DS1 got the job at the post office as a christmas temp. He starts 25th November. To celebrate he's still in bed at 11.53am. DD1 is in bed but she's got a night shift tonight so I don't mind that.

Interestig reading how many of us struggle with the dining room flying - noted for future lists :rotfl:

Going to see how many things I can strike off my list in a HHC before writing up notes from this mornings meeting.

Washing brought in from line and more hung out.

Hoovered all downstairs and up the stairs to the first landing.

Rinsed all the oven bits. Lovley and shiny now.

DS1 has got up. I can see handprints on my newly cleaned windows.

Going to make myself some lunch now and text my friend to see if she wants me to collect her kids from school today.
  • Working in Office, Reserved a table for the family in the reputed restaurant in London for tomorrow evening. Hoping to enjoy all the weekend without leaving a minute empty.
