Take his phone off him and give him a list to do. :D

Mumto5 assuming you pay the bill on the phone then I'd cancel it. Mine have to take on their own phone bills the month after their 18th birthday.

Bit of kitchen cabinet has been glued back on - it's been knocking around the kitchen since the oven has a major repair. Kitchen floor washed, bathroom floor washed and one load in the WM now that the line in the yard has been cleared by 'weekend away' lodger. Second load about to go in and then I can make a start on some cushion bags for the chalet. It's let next week so I need to get it back into lettable shape. I heart late totally unexpected bookings. It makes me do stuff.
    Better is good enough.

    Hi all.

Hugo & Dylan have gone home - collected at 07:30 this morning, just before Mr LW left for work. Next guest, Ruby the Labrador, is due at 17:30 next Thursday, so thanks again for all the Flylady vibes - they certainly worked a treat.:o

Deco so sorry to hear about your friend; although you'd not know her for donkeys' years, she clearly meant a great deal to you.

I've thrown the Dys0n round and picked up loads of short white hairs - Dylan was moulting a lot! And poo-picked the garden as soon as it was light enough. Amazing how much two small dogs can produce!

I have the weekly computer stuff to do - I back up the finance spreadsheets once a week now, since having problems, and actually have two back-ups, so that if it goes as spectacularly belly-up as it did last time, I still have up-to-date information.

My Frog list seems to be growing at a rate of knots, and I'm feeling more than a little overwhelmed, particularly as I'm feeling completely exhausted - to the point of walking around in a daze, feeling dizzy, and picking up the item I need for a task but being unable to think what I'm supposed to do with it. Not good! I also have a mouthful of ulcers again. Yuk!!:( I reckon I need putting in a sack and shaking up.....:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all,
Well four lads of washing done and as its still grey and yuck the new tumbler got broken in too. Made a pot of veggie soup too. Called all but two places to change the address. Ooh called sky and told them my ancient router didn't work after the move, they wanted £70 for a new one, said I'd go elsewhere and suddenly I can get it just for the couple quid postage ;-)
Today I've done nothing, its my last proper day of holiday from work so feel like chilling. Will call up the last couple of places to change the address after I get myself a cuppa. Going to look at the towel and loo roll holder in the bathroom to put it in the WC and out my nice n3xt ones in the bathroom. Done a bit if juggling with bits in rooms to make it livable till I can properly decorate.

Quick question, the metal bits on the gas hob are mingling. I tried putting them through the dish washer but it didn't make much of a dent in the grease, any suggestions?

Hugs to Deco and all else in need

Get some bio washing powder dissolved in hot water in your washing up bowl or a bucket and let them soak overnight!

Not been in long. Done nothing but drink coffee. :D

HM soup decluttered into portions and in the freezer, that is my lunches sorted for work for the next 15 shifts!

House insurance is due, keep getting renewal notices etc via the post, so rang up the current company, and told then I was going to leave as their increase was too much, lo and behold, the quote suddenly drops below the price of last years for the same amount of cover, well pleased with that result. :money:
