God he also sounds like my ex! It's exciting when it's good but when it's bad it's very bad. Looking back now I don't know how I put up with the drama. When I met my now husband I couldn't believe how easy and pleasant life could be without an attention-seeking drama-queen involved. I'd jump ship now and you'll find someone who is more suitable long-term.
    Best of luck

Would you, in your wildest dreams, behave towards him the way he behaves towards you? Why does he continually punish you? Is he getting his own back because he hasn't got a bit on the side now and that's all your fault?
Why haven't you thrown his mobile away?

The phone thing really bothers me....that and not getting in touch with you today to at least say we'll talk when we both arrive home.

I think you know what you need to do... don't stick around too long...sometimes the mud from being a doormat can take along time to wash out.;) You're worth more than that...

    Hi

I have been where you are but have child involved. In the end, the doubt, him constantly going out and on his mobile drove me insane, to the point where after several big arguments, i had enough, packed his bags and told him to leave. I didnt trust him, and no matter how much it hurt, and it REALLY did, for my own sanity i had to put an end to it.

After my time on the rebound, we briefly tried again when he was living somewhere else btu nothign had changed. It was only when we had no contact ( he saw our daughter once a week) that i moved on and met someone else that treated me like a queen. That finished as i decided i wasnt ready for a relationship, that me and my ex got talking ( he now lives in another country!) and are trying again, BUT only because he is a much better and nicer person, and it is now him that is insecure not me, i now take no crap, stand my ground, and when im not happy about something we talk about it, we actually talk about things now! If it deosnt work out, i also know i can survive, AS CAN YOU!

Be strong, talk to him straight, be strong if you have to.

its only now cause we talk properly, that we find all this stuff out about each other and things that were bothering both of us that we never talked about before! Sometimes nomatter how hard it is, a break maybe worth it.

Sounds to me (OP) that he is picking arguments to push you away and make you leave. It makes it easier on him, especially if he thinks he gets to come home from work and the deed is done.

The may be doing this because of another affair or for other reasons.

Its half 9 now, how did your evening go?

Fill out the following quiz as if you were your boyfriend OP: http://www.4degreez.com/misc/personality_disorder_test.mv

It sounds like he has mental health issues that he needs to be willing to realise and deal with. If he is not willing to work through the problems in your relationship (his embarrassing public behaviour, deceiving you, cheating on you etc) then what choice do you really have if you want your life to be happier in the long run?

    Best wishes for you x.
