Those with * sometimes uses conceive plus/preseed.

Jazz - I am a little confused that they did the tests and have now said you need to have been trying for longer. Did they explain why they did the tests in the first place? How long have you been trying for?

Tink - hope the new job went well

Carrot - hope AF arrives soon or that you get a BFP

As someone else said there is an awful lot of symptom spotting going on here!! Come on ladies, lets behave and be kinder to ourselves as SS is not good for anyone!!

About 6 months. All I get from doctors is your young and need to see a gyno but they wont refer me till a year. I never get to see same doc as mine is always away, the last one I spome to said that with my symptoms and from results they need more tests to see what is going on with right ovary. So if they no iv got a problam why do I have to.wait. they have said I prob wont fall preg on my own.

Hi tia86. They done the tests as there are 9 people from one side of family, from my grans sister down that have had fertility problams and because my periods are so irratic

AFM I'm 8dpo. Having the weirdest dreams ever (which of course, we all know means I'm pg ;-) but trying not to think about it too much as it's only month 1 of trying!!

Just wondering, how many of us are TTC number 1? And for those who are....do you ever pause and get 'what the heck am I doing?!' moments? I have been getting these more and more recently. Of course I want a baby - it has always been what I want from life - but I freely admitted to my husband recently that if he was even a few years younger, I wouldn't necessarily want to be doing it right now. But he is not, and I want a baby with him more than I want a few more years of fun, so I should just stop thinking about it. But it is scary. I keep thinking of how drastically our life will change....and I'm sure I don't even know the half of it yet!

Am I the only one? Maybe I am because being on this thread probably means most of us are pretty focused and desperate for a baby....how can you know you are ready? EEEEK!

As for my month, I think stopping with the temps and cbfm was a good decision. I am thinking/stressing about the whole thing MUCH less, which can only be good. In fact, I am not even sure exactly what cycle day I am on without checking my app. I just marked on the calendar when af is due and am keeping an eye on cm but not really thinking much else about it. Anyway, I am pretty sure this won't be our month. I think I will ov on Monday if it is like other months, and hubby is away this weekend, so I think we will miss it this month. Never mind - hopefully gives me a chance to lose a bit of weight.

Hope everyone is doing well. Is anyone due to test soon? I want to see more BFPs!!

Baby no1 is 11 months old and I still think that!

Do you know, people said to me before hand all this stuff like your life will change etc etc etc. What they didn't tell me was how much fun it would be. I've just spent 20 mins laughing with my little man because he's sneezed. Simple things and all. Yes life has changed but for so much the better. I used to think like you, now I think I wish I'd started when I was younger (early thirties now.) If you're thinking it and planning it enough to be on here, you'll honestly be fine.

Daisiegg - I'm 35 and TTC #1 and sh1tting myself. We've left it this long as A) we didn't get married until 2 years ago and I had health problems that ended up in a hip operation last year. I'm freaking out more due to my age and with it not happening each month think that it's not going to happen. Especially with all the "at 35 years and over there's a greater chance of ..." plus a 50% chance of passing on my neurological condition yeah I'm having a lot of what am I doing moments :rotfl:.

But I can't wait for the pay off at the end which will be a gorgeous baby, hopefully it won't have inherited my dodgy genes and fingers crossed not twins :eek:.

I think no matter how much you want something you will still have the oh carp moments.
